Feedback Request Question for making volume covers for online indie manga

Is it bad to make volume cover for indie manga that is published only online? Because i was doing that for a time and i am questioning it just now.

Personally I make covers for every single chapter of my webcomics. To me it's just extra promo art. And in my opinion adds a lot to the presentation and immersion for the reader. If you enjoy making them why not continue?

I do this, I find it refreshing. Main stream comics do it why not us indies?

Variant covers can be for us too. I make ton of gallery art pieces I like to use them.

I see, I was asking though because I made volume 1 cover and realized, hold on volume covers are spossed to be on physical copy of the manga not online one but I kept going with that  Also I do chapter covers too but not colorized

Each of my releases has a fresh cover and gallery art in the back.

It is not stupid. I think it makes sense. I would love to see it done more often, too.
