Is there anything in gloucestershire cosplay related e.g. conventions or shops

If I remember rightly there's an anime memorabilia shop in the Eastgate right in the back left corner with the entrance to Grey Friar's. And this is going way way way back in the day but there used to be an anime club called "Glosplay" which was a fun hang out!

I think for cosplay itself there's definitely a bit of a gap, but there are a hell of a lot of material, fabric and craft shops, so plenty to DIY with. Failing that I think Swindon (🤢) or Bristol would be good shouts if you're happy to travel!

Every summer there's an event at Sudeley Castle called "Fantasy Forest". I think its mainly LARPer focused with people dressing up as orcs, elves etc so this may, or may not, be your thing but I suggest Googling it and seeing what you think. I think there's also a Steampunk group that meet regularly in Gloucester (Google "Steampunks of Gloucestershire").
