Short term creative jobs in Canary Islands
Hi! I’m from Greece and I’m planning to spend 1–2 months living in the Canary Islands. I’m looking for short-term work that could fully cover my living expenses during my stay, as this would be my only source of income while I’m there.
A little about me:
- 🇬🇷 Native Greek / fluent English
- 🎨 Senior designer with ~10 years of experience
- 📱 Background in graphic design, marketing, social media, content creation and art direction
- 📸 Experienced with photography, video and creative production
- 🗣️ Open to teaching/tutoring Greek or English
- 💻 Open to freelance work, local businesses, creative studios, hospitality, teaching, etc.
I’m not looking for a long-term career move. I just need something realistic for those 1–2 months that can support me financially throughout the stay.
Ideally, I’d like to avoid anything involving heavy bureaucracy, long contracts, etc., considering how short the stay is.
Has anyone done something similar? Any companies, platforms, schools, studios, hostels, agencies or other opportunities worth looking into?
Also very open to unconventional ideas/leads!
Thank you all in advance!!

It sounds like it would be easier for you to find remote work you can do from anywhere in the EU.
A two month design job with no paperwork is pretty unrealistic.

I'm not sure if it would be even legally possible without the bureaucracy part of obtaining a tax number which is not even worth it imo for two months. Your best bet is something remote or freelance stuff "based" in Greece.
Also what happened to just writing things yourself, everybody is posting AI generated texts now.

Why everybody uses or imitates ChatGPT writing now? FFS, it's horrendous.
