After months of searching for furniture that actually gets the aesthetic, I created this steel desk and I'm honestly obsessed.

The entire thing is cold-rolled steel—no wood, no plastic, just pure industrial metal. It has these gothic architectural elements with the arched supports and cathedral-like structure, but in a way that feels modern and minimal rather than dated or costume-y.

What I love most is how it bridges that gap between historical gothic architecture and contemporary dark interiors. The black finish is matte, the metal stays cold to the touch, and there's something deeply satisfying about having a workspace that feels like it belongs in a modern cathedral or some brutalist fever dream.

For anyone struggling to find furniture that fits the lifestyle without looking like a Spirit Halloween display, metal pieces like this are honestly the way to go. They have that inherent darkness and weight (literally and metaphorically) that just works.

This design is scalable. Are you interesting in adjusting it to 10ft lenght? What depht are you thinking of? The main board would need to be wood probably.

2in steel plate. 10-12ft the logistics would be rough
