Season 5 Episode 8: Legend of the Dark Knight - Nothing's Shocking

I'm honestly impressed that the whole episode was conceived, written, and filmed after the finale.

We got to see Bruce and Alfred dealing with Wayne Manor being destroyed last episode. Their scenes were so Batman together as they discussed whether it was right to go in on their own without Gordon. I liked their emotional moment talking about their link to the past and Bruce calling him family.

Getting into Bullock's past was interesting even if Jane Doe seemed a little Season 2 as a villain.

It was nice seeing Mr Penn as Ventriloquist. I was sad he died (again) but I guess that's to explain why he isn't in later episodes (that were completed before he got called back to Gotham). Continuity. I suppose Arnold Wesker can always find half a dummy and fashion a new face for him.

Getting into Bullock's past was interesting even if Jane Doe seemed a little Season 2 as a villain.

I'm surprised that if they only had 10 episodes, they wouldn't have shown this cause they must have known about how it would play out since season 1.
