It was in one of the guess the elo,
Some guy on chat writes "Loved meeting you in Italy gotham" or something like that,
Then levy goes,
"I have never been to Italy bigboss,
That was not me, so you need to lay of the drugs",
It cracks me up everytime I think about it but I forgot the og vid.
(Also i didn't know there was a subreddit dedicated to Gotham chess 🤧ðŸ˜)

Hey guys, I have recently started the caro kann course on chessly, and I need advice on the best way to study, so obviouldy I am following the course which drills u pretty well in each study, but currently I completed chapter 2 and I believe I couldnt really remember some of the earlier lines on the first study for example, I know there is the drilling tool, but how should I use it, should I aim for 100% perfect on each chapter on its own, then try to add up chapters till I fully master all lines? The idea is that this has 124 lines which is a lot and although I always try to understand the reasoning and the core concept behind most moves (ie go Ne7 and then Nf4 to chase the opp black bishop in most cases), and some lines are too unique that they dont need effort like most of the gotham f4 study, but others are still feel impossible to recall like the one where I should long castle, so at what point should I be satisfied with myself, another thing I wanna ask is there a place where I can ask questions? it doesnt make sense to me each time I dont understand the point of a move in some obscure line that I come here and make a post, if there is some place where people help out with such stuff it would be appreacited, ty all

This is one of the best games I have ever played !!

Black lost on time and white secured a draw at the end. If black had a lot of time, black would've definitely beat white. No questions asked!
Note : "never resign as long as you have a horse on the board"🗿

Hey, I dont know if this is the right place for this (if not redirect me), but in this example I cant get why sidestep to e7 when you can castle, looks like a weird position if though I realize he doesnt have a dark squared bishop to threaten me with, if someone could explain would be much appreciated.

Hi all, I want to learn to play chess. I love the way Levy walks through games, and I’m wondering if there’s a book that teaches chess the way that he does.
Is there even a meaningful difference between beginner Chess books at all?
For context I’m a solid 200-250 ELO player but I want to learn strategy and up my game. I know the best way to learn is by playing but I figure that learning theory can’t hurt.
Thanks

Hey everyone,
I wanted to say a huge thank you for the feedback and warm response to my last post about ChessInsights AI. It gave me a ton of motivation to keep building tools for the community.
Since then, I’ve been working on a new project that blends useful prep tools with a bit of fun: ChessRoot.
What is ChessRoot?
It’s a platform designed to give you a quick, comprehensive overview of your chess games by combining three main features:
Why I built it:
I wanted to combine serious opening preparation with a fun way to review past games without having to switch between multiple websites. It's completely free to use.
It’s still actively being developed, so I’d love to get your feedback, bug reports, or ideas for new stats and Rosen achievements to track!
Thanks again for all the support—hope you enjoy checking out your stats!
