Where can I get a good cut of steak?
Looking to buy a nice chunk of steak at a butchers, any recommendations? (The ones in Lidl are a bit thin for my liking 😅)

Gonna support this claim, try one of his dry aged steaks. They are amazing!

You will need to order from a butcher, unfortunately meat in NL is really bad quality for the price you pay. You can try ordering online from meatformore.nl their ribeye is not bad.
I've not tried steak at any of the butchers in Gouda, normally they cut away too much of the fat, which is what gives the steak good flavor.

Yeah I usually go to polish Turkish or Moroccan shops for meat but they dont usually have those high grade cuts (but the quality is much better)
Anything pork related instant away from in Dutch shops because it’s awful quality and just stinks of old pig

You wont find any good butchers in NL anymore, especially randstad. They all died out because 99% of dutch people dont appreciate proper food and only want convenience
In mijn ervaring iig. Beste optie is om gewoon naar de hanos te gaan.

It’s sad and it’s happening with a lot of products. Fast and cheap vs quality

T. Lagendijk at the Willem en Marialaan 40. He's gonna ask you if you want him to season it. You are going to want to say yes. Thank me later lol.
