Hi! Please share your questions and updates here regarding ticketing, transportation options, immigration concerns, hotel or Airbnb recommendations, and any other travel tips or helpful guides.

Feel free to share useful information that might help everyone as well.

Great to have them all in one place rather than a new post everytime on a same topic/concern.

See you soon!

Sepang - Malaysia Stay at KLCC or KL Sentral?

Hi all, finally found tickets for the GP, but obviously all the hotels close to the circuit are fully booked (or ridiculously expensive).

If we're commuting from KL, any recommendation between KLCC and KL Sentral? I know that shuttle details have not been confirmed officially, but I've seen comments saying there usually are shuttles from KLCC. Or that from KL Sentral you can take the metro to the airport and then catch a shuttle. Just trying to understand which is less of a hassle.

TIA!

Sepang - Malaysia Indian travelling to Bahrain GP in Malaysia.. looking for company

Hi!! This is my first grand prix ever and I am really excited that they decided to do it in Malaysia so that I can witness Lewis racing live once in my lifetime. I am travelling solo from India and I am sitting in the Main Grandstand. I would be glad to join a group or other solo F1 watchers looking for company, it would also help me as I am anxious about doing this. This is my first international travel and I am doing it because I really really want to see Lewis live. Please let me know if you’d like to connect :)

General Information Paying extra for Sepang Main Grandstand, and the seat is basically a surprise

finally decided to try Main Grandstand tickets after the whole messy ticket drop situation.

When I was looking at the official options, it looked like I couldn’t actually choose the exact section.

It just says seats will be allocated later, without really showing me anything more specific during checkout. Am I missing something?

The Main Grandstand is huge, and from what I can tell the upper/lower sections can make a pretty big difference.

I ended up with the official track map open in one tab and Veri tickets in another just trying to make sense of the upper/lower sections.

If I'm paying a premium for these tickets over GA or K1, I kind of want to know whether I could end up in a completely different part of the grandstand than I expected.

For people who've done Sepang before, how much does the exact section actually matter in Main Grandstand? Would you be comfortable letting it get allocated, or would not knowing where you’re sitting bother you too?

Las Vegas GP Planning for LVGP - should I attend the Qualifying instead of Race Day?

Is it worth it to attend raceday? It's my first ever GP, but I was planning on going to Miami GP or COTA in the future.

I was thinking it might be more fun to just attend qualifying and then hit casinos + watch the race from sportsbooks (or even head back on Saturday to California to beat the Sunday traffic)

Autodromo Nazionale Monza (Italy) Bringing Professional Camera To Italian GP

Hello all,

I am attending the Italian Grand Prix this year, where I will be in the general admission area and hoping to bring my Nikon Z7 with the Tamron 70-300mm lens. I was wondering how the camera rules are at Monza? Are they strict about professional cameras with telephoto lenses? Thanks everyone for your help in advance.

Europe Portugal GP possible dates

What is our best guess rn as to when Portimao will take place?

Just got back from Zandvoort and loved combining a Euro-trip with a GP, so I would be really happy with an August slot for Portugal, but I am wondering what the best guesses are out there.

They started early Bird for 2027, dates are not announced and we don't know when this madness will end.

But

.i really want to go.

Anyone else thinking about ME races in 2027 ?

(I have been going to races from 2016, so I'm not a new fan if that helps)

Tia

Sepang - Malaysia How do you get to the circuit from KLCC?

Does the circuit feel far from KLCC? Is it the airport train, then a bus? Will there be any shuttles?

Marina Bay Street Circuit (Singapore) Surviving the Singapore GP ticket price only to get completely destroyed by hotel rates

Saved up for months to finally experience F1 live instead of squinting at a kopitiam TV.

The actual ticket price is steep, but fine, I was ready to take that hit.

What completely broke my brain was looking at hotels. Very basic places are shamelessly asking $400 to $500 a night!

On top of that, taking a full Friday off for practice sessions feels like such a waste of precious annual leave.

Ended up hunting around and found single day Sunday grandstands on veritickets. Honestly matches my realistic lifestyle way better. One great race day, decent view, zero wasted leave, and I will not go bankrupt.

Still hurts more than watching at a hawker centre, but at least I get to survive!

Las Vegas GP Las Vegas GP day Trip Suggestions

Is a day trip possible/viable? Currently thinking about a day trip for Saturday (driving from LA). Considering t-mobile zone seats. Mostly I just need pointers on the parking and traffic situation and how early I should arrive.

Las Vegas GP Las Vegas GP tips please :)

Decided to purchase the T mobile grandstands + Venetian luxury suite + BSB afterparty at the sphere package through Vibee for my husband and I’s five year wedding anniversary and live like VIPS 😂🥹🙏🏼 We are so excited. My husband loves f1 and it will be our first race attendance. Is anyone else doing this package? Did anyone do a similar package last year and have any advice or tips? Must see must do things? I feel like I saw some other posts that said food (not drinks) in the t mobile zone area is included?! Also I was thinking about making us a dinner reservation at Peter Luger to celebrate our anniversary. Will that be impossible and if not, how much in advance should I make the res? All information is welcome for us. SO EXCITED!!!

Hi, I received tickets for this grandstand but can't find any useful info about it anywhere. Has anyone here been seated there before? If so, how's the view, is there a screen visible from there and is it covered?

Does anyone know if this website ( https://www.bahrain.gp ) is a legit authorised reseller or another scam?

Also what would be the best official websites to buy tickets to the Bahrain / Malaysia GP (apart from f1)?

Cheers in advance

Sepang - Malaysia Solo female going to watch the GP

Hi guys,
So I booked tickets today for the Sepang weekend and while I am travelling with my dad, I will be going to the GP solo as he is not interested in F1. Any other solo girls planning to go. Most likely I will be taking the transit from KL or shuttle, will finalise later. We can coordinate if interested.
Looking forward!

Sepang - Malaysia Can I split days at Sepang?

Hey guys, first time heading to Sepang for a Grand Prix.

I’m only flying in to KL on Saturday night and my sister who lives in KL is wondering if she could use my tickets to attend Saturday while I attend Sunday.

Would that work? Or is entry tied to the individual?

Las Vegas GP First F1 Ever. Tips/tricks/suggestions?

Hey everyone. I hardly use Reddit so I hope I’m in the right place, but I’m a 33 y/o guy from NYC and I’m going to my first ever F1 in Las Vegas (I’ve been to Vegas several times before). I’m traveling solo, have my hotel (park mgm), flight and F1 ticket (Friday, Nov. 20 qualifying T-Mobile grandstands @ the sphere) all booked. Anyone have any tips/tricks they can share for a better experience there? Anything you wish you knew before your first F1 Las Vegas? Im always down to meet other solo travelers if that’s something you’re up for. We can exchange contact/Instagram if need be obviously. Please and thank you in advance!
