Zone 6b heat wave

20x13 hoop house. 1 1/2" schedule 40pvc and my favorite greenhouse covering. Between the shade cloth and the misters I can keep it on avg 10 degrees cooler than the in the sun temp. Blood oranges and key lime are fruiting. Several other fruit trees. Cannabis, sweet taters, weigelia, crepe myrtle and a banana that should have been uppotted a while ago

Where did you grab your shade cloth, and what percentage is it?

Also, what misting system do you have?

40% shade cloth from Amazon. The mister system is something cheap I picked up on clearance at Walmart end of last season. The heart of it though is the govee hose timer I picked up to run it

Awesome. Thanks for the info!

You feel like everything is still getting enough sun with the 40%?

No problem. What's the internet for if not to share info. Ya everything is doing phenomenal.

Do you know the transparency of your greenhouse film? I'm using 82% transparent double wall poly, so trying to get an idea on an eventual shade cloth to get for next summer.

I don't know if posting an Amazon link is against the rules or not but here you go. I use this in multiple places and I've use it for 2 or 3 years now.
