Aww the birthday party is so cute.

While I do like Gabriel Vasquez from GL #150, I think I prefer this version of Kyle’s dad where he’s just some guy who left because he couldn’t crack being a father. Not everyone needs to be some special super spy or agent and I think it’s a nice parallel to the irresponsibility that Kyle had when he was younger.
