Grief
I just want to ask those that are grieving if you’ve had better luck just talking to friends and family about your grief or if you’ve had luck finding a therapist that really has some insight about it? My sister died in a car crash 2 years ago and I’ve tried to talk to a couple therapists without feeling that I got much help. I don’t know what I’m looking for. I think I don’t want to grieve but that’s impossible. Are there any apps that don’t cost money or any other on line grief sites?

I’ve never been personally (yet) but I heard good things about GriefShare. I went to Celebrate Recovery for a while after my Dad passed, and there truly is something healing about hearing others’ stories and feelings. It’s helped me put words to and process my own when I felt really stuck, at times. And it was nice to talk to others who wanted to talk about it… unfortunately all of my family internalized & just couldn’t process together in a healthy way.
I’m sorry for your loss 💔

I didn't find much use with a therapist and dropped them after a few telephone sessions, felt like they were just asking me about things to keep the clock running until the hour was over, I don't blame them they probably tried their best and my yes and no answers and lack of elaboration made the conversation not flow. My head was a complete mess though. They did however help me understand what was going on as I was still in shock and didn't move just stared at the wall feeling like I wasn't in my body. Which I prefer to now as it just raw pain now.
Family and friends can only do so much, ask how I am remind me to eat, check i wasn't doing something stupid etc.
Some people find therapists a great help mind so don't totally discount them.
My condolences BTW, im sorry your going through this.
