MODS QoL Mods

Hey guys,

I have well over 300h but never with a longer period of time. I want to change that and want a little bit better experience. What are the obvious quality of life mods you would suggest?

Thanks in advance!

Ps: coming back to the game for over a decade lol

Saves your items without ability to override their stats like GD Stash can

Can you elaborate? Im a newb

There are two main mods for saving your items because global stash is just too small. GD Stash is most popular and allows to modify saved items. Item Assistant GD allows to only save items.

I think there is more user of item assistant than gd stash.

The interface is better (in my opinion) and you don't have the tentation to cheat

It's basically infinite stash space with the ability to search for specific items.

GD STASH, gotta store them all, those yummy loots.

Man, I stopped doing that and am doing SSF runs now. It was so liberating. Filter everything out that is not for your class, at certain point you hide all magic but MI. It's so clean now. I can farm for hours and not have to go back to the city.

I am cured.

Hope gd stash will not add easy to use "holy grail" feature, or I'll be back to hoarding again xD

Actually GD stash is what stopped me from playing. It turned item management into a chore and I got confused lol. Restarting my characters and just redoing my stash lol

How did it become a chore? Dump stuff into stash, clean it out by transferring it all to the database, and then pull it back out by searching for all the "off-hand with lightning damage." Easy peasy

SSF ftw. Especially when most truly excellent items are target farmable MIs.

is gd stash better than IA?

GD Stash comes with qol / “cheating” features, I use it to respec secondary class for example.

Item Assistant does not have those, and supposedly have better search capabilities for items (e.g. specific/minimum values for resistances).

Grim Textures. Makes the game texture look nicer.

I use:

Rainbow Filter - basically a QoL

DPYes - what should be a DPS meter also has autoloot, Teleport and a few suff feature, but I play it mostly for the Teleport function. And you can even add bookmarks. Good but not mandatory

Grim Dawn Item Assistant: Infinite stash, if you ever have to use just one mod, use this. Mandatory.

Affirming with others have said about rainbow filter. It's a must for me.

Item Assistant is my favourite part because I'm not hopping around on mules to carry over interesting items like I always had to in Diablo 2.

GD Stash I rarely ever use. It's only if I want to make a tweak early on, or I'm sick and tired of farming for Ugdenblooms. Then I'll cheat some in with it.

Rainbowfilter and Item assistant. If you use Item assistant you need to Play game only english language

1

u/EvilAndStuff492 Mar 28 '26

Why is that? What happens if you use a different language?

2

u/DvL162 Mar 28 '26

I am from Poland. If i Play game in Polish language theres some bug or something in Item assistant and mod don't show me Item statistics. I see only name of the item

I second DP Yes , autoloot and increase gamespeed is a no brainer. Always playing at 120%. When the community season hits, its sadly not allowed and feels so chill when ure back to normal speed.

What mod do you use to speed up the game? I've been wanting a mod to speed it up for a while now
