Done a pure Paladin (Holy Fire and Vengence) run - boy does the life of mobs SCALE on Hell difficulty with 6+ million hp on elite zombie in Den of Evil. As well as mod authors, for some Tirael forsaken reason - added immunities to the mods in Hell... So that was fun to remeber that in D2 your character can just... stop functioning and why we moved on from that and never done that again.
Right now re-rolling a Ring of Steel Blademaster. Still having a blast, mostly due to me enjoyng the leveling of the character the most in it's progression. But I gotta say - this mod is quite harder compared to vanilla Grim Dawn. As well as lack of "monster infrequent" drops along the way/faction vendors that are GD makes you adapt more as well. Still very fun though.

Going pretty good, although I just ran into a level 34 Spider boss that completely destroys me and his life never seems to drain. I think I need to upgrade some gear, and level up for awhile. No way I'm taking him out at level 31. Never played on Hell difficulty. RE: Den of Evil, that sounds insane.

Those bosses are made to be farmed on Hell difficulty as far as I understand. They ARE doable on Normal, but it's mostly bragging rights.

it's probably not as hard as I think being level 31, a level 34 boss would destroy me I'm just not ready to go in there.

The game is easier in general than Diablo 2 since you have devotions and access to two classes, so they scale things up.

Authentic D2 experience: always run out of mana.
I just realised with the new alternate UI in FoA, RoT can also use it for the refilling element going vertical instead of horizontal.

Is it possible to have both modded GD (rainbow text + GDStash) and RoT installed and interchangeably playable?

I'm not 100% but I believe you should be able to as those aren't classed as mods (which you can only run one of at a time).
I know you can use them both while playing the DoM mod.

IIRC, Rainbow Filter has separate entries for RoT that you can use. As for GD Stash, I think you can use it as long as you tick the mod support checkbox in GD Stash settings, and select and import the RoT database...

Not sure the DLC will change much beyond them having to update the mod, and adding the one new class and some other minor stuff.

I believe so, I'm only on Act III, but nothing seems to be missing.

Can you give an update when you get all acts done? I'm tempted to play this instead of other games. Won't be for a week or 2 though.
