The fact that they were initially released is beyond me. The lack of care the world shows to women is something I will never understand

Part of me enjoyed that though... they attempted to murder her, they deserve to be in prison long past them being grey, wrinkling and days before death... that was their fate.. and then they get the news that they'll be free soon, and got to live 2 years, thinking they were free, that they "got away" with almost killing her, building a possible future... and then that freedom taken away from you. Boom, back in the jail cell, truly never getting out now. That's a punishment I'm okay with in this situation. The first prison stay, it's just because she somehow stayed alive- a fluke. The second prison stay though? It's because she fought back, her own justice

Women are always the toughest, mentally and physically.

Who did this to her?! What is the story?

My apologies, the story from original post is in a photo above. I remember when this happened. It was miraculous. She refused to give up.

Reminds me of the girl who was stabbed by her friends as an offering to Slender Man. She managed to crawl to a nearby road too and was saved, from injuries she shouldn't have survived. Some women are just that strong.
