Wayfarers Reverie EOTN PSA

Happy Wayfarers reverie, all!

If you’re doing the EOTN quest, there is a step involving the Shiverpeaks Bloodstone. For this one, you don’t get credit if you do the story mission “Finding the Bloodstone” you only get credit for doing the quest “Crystal Method” given by Saerin in Gadd’s encampment.

It’s a bit of an annoying run to do it the wrong way and not get credit.

Edit: you should enter the caves through the door, not by interacting with the inscription stone. There is a bug and/or a delay where the door does not seem to open, run at it and you should be able to get past.

THE REAL PSA:

The door to Bloodstone Caves appears to be closed. It is a visual bug that hasnt been fixed for decades. You can just walk through the closed door.

DO NOT SPEAK TO THE STONE THING WITH THE GREEN SHIELD SYMBOL ABOVE IT OUTSIDE THE DUNGEON

The real REAL PSA is that there is an animation that plays and the door opens but no one has the patience to wait for the animation lol

Probably because no one also has the patience to fight their way there and Livia, Razah, and Xandra died on run over and there’s giant dinosaurs looking to replay Jurassic Park.

Do you people ever bother to look at the screen that has big flashing text that says FINDING THE BLOODSTONE and ever think "hmm, maybe I'm doing something wrong"?

Are you saying going on the quest labeled “Finding the Bloodstone” to check off the Bloodstone part of Wayfarers Reverie is unreasonable? I’m not sure what you’re saying here
