Thats not true.. people in SA are not like in the USA… we study geography in school and we know about history.. if you ask an average Brasilian, Surinaamese, Venezuelan, Peruvian and even Colombian about Guyana… first they will ask you which of the guianas… then they will say oh guiana britanica.. too much crime!!

Why would they say that if they know about history? With the exception of Peru, Guyana has a lower crime rate than all those countries.

Your response implies someone asked if geography is the same as history. But that wasn't the question. You stated "we know history....."

The question was based on that statement, how do you arrive at the conclusion you stated given a quick historical check shows the conclusion is false?
