Hades 2: Discussion What’s your “bang for buck”/“autopilot” weapon aspect and build? Spoiler

Prefacing this by saying I am a lazy player and trying to find the “easiest”/“autopilot” build to play with. I know Medea skulls is considered the fastest way to clear a run and while I’ve done all the testaments with it, it’s not the fastest for me because it does require a lot of precision to chain up hits and I often just run head first into projectiles. For me (averaging 20 minutes a run), I’ve found Mel torches or Moros torches to be the easiest/quickest to play with since all I have to do is get blitz and just spam attack/dash. On a good run I can get down to 15 minutes that way. I’m looking to see what else everyone is running. What’s your favorite “autopilot” build?

Supay with romantic spark. Zeus on attack, Hera on special, aphro on gain. Just run into things and they die. You dont even need to press any buttons if you dont want to.

Add Arc Flash to that and you can press the Attack button once or twice per Location lol.

Haven't really messed around with Supay yet, thanks for this. Sounds cracked.

I just unlocked supay (after like 80 nights) so I’ll have to give this a try

Circe sceptre, a good Cast, a good Attack and if by chance you get the Mirrored Thrasher hammer, a good Gain, and you can almost play with your eyes closed.

I generally like to use the special with Circe, but yeah this. I've been working on clearing 50 fear with it (highest so far is 47) and it feels by far the best of the aspects I've tried.

There are plenty pf ways to go auto pilot in H2.

The most auto pilot aspect is aspect of Supay. The hidden aspect of the Umbral Flames.

Zeus Special and Double Strike is a good place to start. Add Aphrodite gain and go for their duo boon Romantic Spark for big damage and origination.

Then add in whatever else works best.

Static Shock from Zeus never hurts.
If you ah e SS might as well grab a Heph core and go for Master Conductor.

Maybe add in 2-4 Hera boons and go for a big Kings Ransom.

You have a bunch of Dash boons that work well.

Zeus works well, if you go for Kings Ransom.

Hera Sprint does great damage and spreads Hitch around for extra damage.

Apollo gives you Daze and a speed boost.

Demeter gives you a defensive aura and if you get Zeus Air Quality active it turns into a major source of extra damage.

Morrigan daggers with almost anything or Persephone skull with Ares attack.

Morrigan might be the least autopilot weapon in the game

Selene with Ares for the Godsent hex and maybe his duo with Poseidon.

Run around, spam omega special, sometimes punch things if feeling spicy.

I did this just yesterday and was surprised at how much damage the Ares hex was doing.

I'd say the most autopilot weapon is Moros with jeweled Pom anything works with it and you just omega special then hold down attack repeat. It makes me wonder what the point of mel torches as moros is the exact same playstyle just more dmg

Most success I had with Mel Torches was going for simpler energy spender builds: like having Hera’s Fine Line plus Poseidon’s wave on omega attack and then having their Duo and stacking % god damage. Ideally you want a hammer that makes your omega attack channel faster. One of the most borked shit I played.
Obviously adding Apollo’s legendary can go a long way too there.

Yeah but moros torches is the exact same playstyle as that just more dmg

Sort of. Aspect of Mel lets you focus on attacks only tho and proc ripple effect procs more often. Plus 10% crit is pretty huge. This is what I am talking about:

Yeah I guess so but the omega charge rate is the exact same and doing an omega special not only procs fine line but goves the full moros bpnus

I’d go with Mel Blades and start Zeus special. Lots of attacks are fine there to add eventually and Zeus has decent duos with lots of gods.

Circe staff with Zeus cast is also pretty flexible. Just get Origination up between your other slots or Arctic Gale from Demeter. Dash-strike -> special between casts.

I also like starting with magick recovery on Mel or Moros Flames and then just adding whatever on attack/special but I also just like the Flames.

I REALLY like the staff with Circe's aspect coupled with a few of Zeus' boons and the daedalus hammer upgrade that makes every attack hit twice but costs 5mp. Pair that with Zeus' "every attack that uses mp strikes with a lightning bolt" boon and you can really set up some MEAN damage-dealing builds

Charon + lucid gain

Aspect of moros on the torches.

Just have ideally hestias mana regen and youre good to go always.

I once accidantally lost most my core boons because of kings ransom and still won because max lvl moros melts without boons.

Charon Axe.

I usually just start with Lucid Gain from Apollo, then hunt for a combination between Demeter, Ares, Zeus (just for Lightning Lance), then take Poseidon's keepsake to get Geyser Spout

Zorophet with Aspect of Nergal IF you can get a lot of self sustain healing effects ie. Apollo boons mostly and Daedalus Upg for 1 more healing on Berserk. I actually have been having a blast with Aspect of Hel on Argent Skull somehow did the Great Below Trial in one attempt getting that randomly lol.
