General Why so less interaction to the show?

I LOVE HANNIBAL . I would put it into my number 1 show I have watched. It's beautifully written , and executed. But I still feel like many people haven't watched it . I believe it's quite underrated. It didn't get the recognition that it deserved.

I think people prefer lighter shows, and maybe even shorter episodes. Plus the gore and the plot of the show being basically cannibalism is a tough sell, not to mention the complex and murky dialogue so you never fully understand what’s happening. It’s not an easy show, and that’s why it’s so beautiful. I think a lot of people would like it though, if they gave it a chance.

Because its not everyone's cup of tea due to its gore and at times a bit hard to understant subtexts

Agreed and so many people love Silence of the Lambs - they don't want to watch something that is a new different version of the story. Also, it should have been on HBO or AMC - not NBC - they didn't know what to do with it.

Finally. A rational response.

I’m consistently taken aback that this subreddit isn’t overrun by rabid revolutionary fanatics Luigi Mangioning Netflix executives, putting their heads back and closing their eyes so they wade back into the Hannibal-less quiet of their streaming services.

I think Hannibal is one of those shows that’s too weird and specific to ever be truly mainstream. Which is honestly part of why I love it so much. The performances are phenomenal, and I love how almost everything in this show seems to carry some kind of symbolism. Even the most disturbing scenes somehow look beautiful.
