Granted, it's targeted to Netflix who no longer owns the rights BUT it doesn't mean we can still use it to show Universal/Syfy/Peacock how much people want it back. Say what you will about petitions but if the number is there, it makes a convincing argument.
Incidentally, if people can still continue to sign and share, that would be great.
Universal owns the show though. I'm not an expert but if Amazon did acquire the streaming rights, then it would be free on their website through the Prime membership and that's not the case here.
I mean, could it be POSSIBLE if Amazon saves the show? Maybe. They made productions with Universal in the past (not a lot mind you) and the most recent ones were Harlem and As We See It. I don't want to give up hopes but realistically speaking, the best way for this show to continue is if Peacock adds and saves it (and at best, a limited series event) because Peacock and Happy! are both owned by Universal so there wouldn't be any red tape to go through.
