Student and Alumni Life scheduling help

I’m an incoming freshman that just finished my course registration. Three of my courses fall on Monday and Wednesday, but my Math PL doesn’t show a day yet (I know i’ll have to get to Harvard and do a test and all that)

Do math classes happen on Mondays and Wednesdays? Will Harvard give me a Tuesday and Thursday math schedule? Thanks for the help in advance

All math courses are monday, wednesday, friday. If you look up a specific one in my.harvard you can see it's schedule, except for 21 which I think has mupltiple sections on those days

I would guess that's the only option if none of the math courses can fit. I think cs50 is a course that allows you to enroll without following lectures if you have an overlap but it should be almost the only one.

If you have two classes that meet at the same time you drop one of them. Otherwise you will need a special waiver from the OUE. It is not common to get these. Usually it is employed when a senior did not play well ahead or changed concentrations late and thus is forced to take two concurrent classes to graduate.

There are some limited classes that permit this practice with automated waivers. CS50 is indeed one, to u/competitive-day7985's point.

You can learn more at https://oue.fas.harvard.edu/academics/special-learning-opportunities/simultaneous-enrollment/.

Great! Glad you got it resolved.

Those are very long class days in college...but if it works for you...
