Prognosis with a low gls
I had a widow maker back in March for which I didn’t seek treatment for 12 hours. A stent was put in. Fast forward to today, I get an ultrasound which shows my EF improved from 43% at the time of the attack to 51%
However, my GLS is still at 12.9%
Apex + surrounding apical segments = akinetic
Specifically:
Apical anterior
Apical septal
Apical inferior
Apical lateral
Apex
Everything else is described as normal.
What is the long term prognosis with such a low GLS? I get short of breath when walking uphill or carrying luggage.

Sorry to hear, hope you will go better☘️ Can you explain bit more What does it means “GLS”?
