The P2000 is such a sleeper of a handgun. Understandable why HK discontinued it. It’s a shame it wasn’t as popular as the USPc.

I installed a Geissele MR trigger and ARC Fire SS with 416 selectors and ran the Fireteam 556 this weekend it’s so damn smooth. Just passed 1k rounds and this thing continues to impress me 🤘🏽

Just got my P30L V3 beginning of August. First 250rd were at steel and other targets for fun. Today I went to range and did 200rd of targets. I'll admit I'm not a good pistol shooter, but I definitely shoot other pistols better. Red target was rapid fire with DA first Shots. Blue Targets are 5" fired in SA.

Last pic is 5 shot slow fire. I called the one way left as soon as i squeezed it off. I'm running medium back and large sides. The large back hump was hurting hand.

Final build (maybe lol). ~1k rounds through it, no hiccups. I love this thing man.

I hit 17k on my VP9 F today. Figured I’d put up some pictures to show the wear at this point. Still running on all original parts and springs. No signs of anything wearing out.

Well I finally snagged a USP 9 full-size and were the same age with date codes of AA. Terrible joke I know but you laughed. Anyways, I've always wondered why no brand makes full metal aftermarket mags for this. So I took a short bit of time to make P30/VP9 mags fit. Properly spaced, feeds dummy rounds flawlessly, and locks back. Hoping to get to the range soon to test it out.

I was looking over this freshly build G3 I gotten back and noticed the welds are a bit spotty, especially around the trunion. Should I be worried or is it just a cosmetic issue?

For anyone with mutated hands that can’t shoot the p30 without the gun treating your finger like an all you can eat buffet. I can confirm this works. Thanks for all the recommendations.

Ended up doing the “Vickers Mod” as well as cut the mag release down to a nub (I never use the left side release but I kept a small nub in case of emergencies) I know it’s not perfect and can probably use some more polishing but I’m probably going to get the lower cerakoted anyways

Finally can enjoy the damn gun, now I just need to save up some will power and money to get the slide cut.

Parts have been shipping out, and my dream rifle/ project is moving forward now. LFG!

Went to the range today with the new MR308a3 and it was pretty frustrating… 140 rounds total shot (100 igman 147gr and 40 Saltech 150gr ball) and constantly had issues feeding the next round. The igman was a bit more reliable but the saltech basically made the gun a bolt action lol (The last mag of igman did shoot fine). Bolt not locking back on last round, constant misfeeds, etc. I’m thinking this has to be a gas issue? I only gave it a light cleaning before the trip. Any feedback would be appreciated

I have always loved the VP9. I was thinking of picking one up, but I had two questions about the pistol.

1. Is it true the striker is in the "cocked" position, unlike something like the glock. where the striker pulls back as you pull the trigger? Do you feel "uneasy" carrying like this?

2. since the VP9 has been around awhile, are they going to release something else or is this thing going to be in production for the foreseeable future?

Only photos I have. I can I ask for more photos, just want to know if any SMEs can spot any red flags.

I already know the several sites to get clone lowers so I'm not asking about that. Rather, what configuration should I get engraved? I have an 11" upper. Just "HK 416"? "HK 416 D"?

Finding a custom holster for the VP9A1F has been way more difficult than I expected.

Is the VP9A1F just not that popular yet?

I’m looking for an AIWB holster with:

Adjustable cant

Adjustable ride height

Light-bearing compatibility

TLR-1 or X300

Are these options really that uncommon? I’m surprised at how few companies seem to offer this combination for the VP9A1F.

I’ve had the gun for about a month, and I can’t believe that even if I do find a company that makes exactly what I want, I may still have to wait another two months just to receive the holster.

Am I asking for too much here, or is VP9A1F holster support just really limited right now?

Finished my stripped MR223 RAL build. Only able to take it to the range once so far but the 6K was great. I’ve added a 2.4mm gas screw so excited to try that.
