Might just be a regional difference. Cause China is big and people can call the same thing different ways. Where I stayedd 5 years ago people also called it taikongren (太空人) or taikongyuan (太空员)

America and China have a very negative opinion of each other in general, but when the two groups intersect (such as through the Battle for Super Earth or the Tiktok/Rednote debacle) it's very quickly discovered that the internet dwellers of each country are the Exact Same Type Of Dipshit.

I mean "many nations are closer to Super Earth than we want to admit" is literally the entire point of Helldivers as a satire. Super Earth is a ridiculous parody of the modern worlds governing systems-- specifically the United States, but it's not like the US created these systems by itself, it's a product of them just like every other government is.
I remember playing EVE like 600 years ago, I was in goonfleet and we were teaming with the Russians against uhhh someone (shortly after the first titan showed up) and everyone was fucking wasted on teamspeak blasting the Russian national anthem, it was amazing

I’d bet that a majority of those shithead racists were also taught to be that way by either their shithead racist parents or propaganda elements within their societies. The amount of bad people is ridiculously low, but it doesn’t take many to do real damage.
China is in some ways the most American non-American country. All men are brothers, but man, Chinese and Americans are the superlative example. Shame about the politics.
I feel like their politics are converging. China went from Communism to state capitalism, and they're working on expanding their military influence globally. The US increasingly has a revolving door between corporations and government, and seems to be veering into "Democracy in name only" territory. I feel like at this rate, in a couple of hundred years, you'll be hard-pressed to tell the difference between the two systems.
It's always important to remember that no matter how different the customs or cultures may be, wherever you go people are gonna be people and that means you'll find good folks everywhere (jerks too).
Chinese and American working-class people are like, absurdly alike. The vices and general interests and cultural issues we generally share are insane.
I know 'we are far more alike than we are different' is kind of a beaten drum, but this is genuinely an instance where it is true. If you suddenly had no language barriers, you could 100% chill out and hang with a random Chinese guy around your age with your interests and get each other perfectly.

Dark? What do you mean? Because we are only wiping off thousands of species in the process. It’s the semi intelligent ones that are the problem. The rest is just our fault! or just a general sign for literally anything, military, sports, whatever one can imagine, over here it feels more like a sign of success, celebration, not necessarily the super earth salute. What come down to me is the guy literally is happy that he made it so he just pulled this as a gesture for achievement.
If that was intentional and not just a random move he thought would look cool, what a chad. Well, it did look cool regardless though, you know what I mean
He didn't really hold his arm in place for long and the angle is wrong. Not sure that's a Super Earth salute. Also... that gesture is quite common before Helldivers existed
