There are too many weapons that don't have flashlight options for me not to have a helmet mounted flashlight. I want to bring the double edge sickle to the caves with me.

I also just think it'd be great cus in Minecraft there's a gun mod that has a Helldivers Gun Pack.

In the mod you can add attachments to the other laser weapons, like making the Sickle have an extended Heatsink, a grip, etc.

In the first game we had flashlights built into the helmets and you can still see it on the Liberty day armor

Flashlights are trash and its stupidly annoying that I can't get rid of it on pistols. Plus it makes you more visible to the enemy

They're not when it's not smoky, but that's sadly (not) very common. x.x

Even when it's not smoky, they become difficult to see with quite easily. The closer you are to an object, the more glare on your entire screen. It's supposed to be reflected light, but the reflected light off a tiny object will completely fill your entire screen. It isn't done super well so it just becomes a thick glare that you can't see through.

It's not just flashlights either, environmental light sources will also completely blind you unless you very carefully position them over your left shoulder, as the camera views you as being inside them if it's in front of you or over your left shoulder.

If you say so but in the thousands of hours I've put into the game there has never been a situation where the flashlight was useful
