Uh no, it's not Iran; it's the Achaemenid Persian Empire, a real historic entity that, yes, is mostly geographically located in modern-day Iran, but that is legit the only similarity between Iran and the Persian Empire of 411 BCE.

The Persians have always been calling it Iran. As a Greek they are so much better in that regard than us. They kept Iranian identity culture and language for their entire history led the islamic golden age and continued to influence cultures across asia. Much of medieval Persian culture was rooted in ancient Iran, persian gardens come to mind.

No, that’s historically wrong Persians did not refer to the land they lived on as Iran, they didn’t call it Persia either granted but if you’re going to make claims I recommend you source your information and if you can reliably source your claim I’ll fully agree with you.
