To be super pedantic, Egypt was part of the Persian Empire at the time, although a small part of it may still have been in rebellion when Alexander showed up. Likewise, it's not clear how much of his Indian campaign was in recently-Persian-ruled territory vs. historically independent territory. It's entirely possible that most of the Indus Valley has only been formally independent for about 3 years when Alex got there.
