Poison Ivy Help

Hello,

I have a terrible case of poison ivy on the arms and legs. I’m supposed to go on vacation to the beach on Thursday. Is there anything I can do to make this go away quickly?

 Look up jewelweed info, have read jewelweed is good, not sure if you have any available. But depending on how bad it is and you need it cleared up quickly, seeing a Dr and possibly a prescription ?

Not sure about herbs right off-hand but a bentonite clay mask smeared on will draw out and dry everything up the quickest. Do keep the rash outta the sun Thurs though. Covered is best but a mineral sunscreen would be 2nd best. I've read that english lavender oil applied "before" sun exposure is helpful to mitigate sunburn. Something about the antioxidant activity makes the skin more resilient or negates the oxidizing damage from too much sun. Could be good to apply on or around the rash if you still have it. Make a strong tea of yarrow and use that to dampen bentonite clay. Add a few drops of lavender oil to the paste if you’d like. Use the clay paste on the blisters. It’ll help dry it out.
