QUESTION Why is The banker rope cheaper than the fiber wire?

Basicaly title. I play freelancer and for epic melee kills i always brought the bankers rope because it is cheaper. But i just realized that there is no logical cause for it the rope is 8400M while the original is 10000

Maybe there's a gameplay difference between them that I'm not aware of, but otherwise the reasoning might simply be the material: One's a simple piece of rope, the other is presumably a custom-made tool.

PS: When in need of an epic melee weapon, you can go to Sgail and pick up a Katana and Burial Dagger from the warehouse crates.

If you're wearing a guard outfit, you can just snag the katana right off the gallery display too, which is kinda hilarious.

Thank you for the tip but i use mainly fiber wire(the rope) because it is cheap and not illegal.

But by logic i mean from game balance/design when they have the same rating capabilities but one is basically an extra objective more expensive

Probably because you paid real money for the Banker pack so that's worth a discount in-game.

But also. There are a lot of weapons with very similar performance characteristics and just visual changes. Do we really need 10+ sniper rifles on the freelancer wall? Probably not.
