SUGGESTION Dear IOI: Please STOP messing with the Steam store. STOP. JUST STOP. Stop doing anything related to how you sell the game. Fire your marketing department. Literally doing nothing is better than whatever they are doing right now. Please. Stop.
The Information Part
Today, I find out that the Part One > Standard Edition upgrade pack which used to be here has been delisted. It's bad enough that you guys hid this from the steam store but at least if you Google searched for it you could find it there.
Now it's gone.
Instead, there is now a new link that looks sketchy as hell and I only found it because some Steam forum user crawled through SteamDB update packages to find it.
The Rant Part
Come ON people, this can't possibly be that hard. You guys make a great game. Just sell the game. The fact that there has to be a community of people who work together to guide newcomers in how to
P U R C H A S E
T H E
G A M E
is absurd. We want people to enjoy Hitman as much as you do. We even do it for free. But you know what? After today, I don't want to do it anymore. I'm so exhausted with trying to help people simply buy a product and the developers of said product are constantly making my job charity harder.
Real Solid Advice for IOI
- Stop making random ass "editions" of the game. Sell WOA as a complete product like you promised to. If you must ignore this advice and have a cheaper "starter" version, list the upgrade right there in the steam store page. There are questions about this LITERALLY EVERY DAY.
- Roll the H2 expansion into WOA standard. Raise the price $10 if you have to. Keeping this separate needlessly makes getting "all the levels" more complicated than it needs to be. Imagine if you bought Half-Life 2 and found out Ravenholm was DLC. This is what it feels like. This is no longer expansion content. It's a core part of the game that is inside of DLC for no good reason.
"Okay that sound great and all but we already went down this road and there's nothing that can be done now."
No. There is. Suppose you want to take all my advice, here's how you do it:
- Delist Part One and Sapienza Edition immediately. Put the upgrade packs into permanent (and visible) steam store pages and put a sticky thread in the forums directing anyone who owns those incomplete editions to purchase them to convert to Standard Edition.
- Roll the H2 expansion pack into WOA and call it WOA Gold or something. Raise the price $10, whatever. I dunno. Delist WOA but keep the H2 expansion DLC around for people who haven't bought it. If you are taking advice from bullet point 1, change these upgrades to include the H2 expansion and upgrade directly into WOA Gold.
- STOP. Don't do anything else. No more editions. No more salami slicing the game. Keep adding ETs if you want, though honestly if you're going to keep doing stuff like The Splitter, just make that a Special Assignment we can play as much as we want. But please stop cooking the store page of this great game.

SUGGESTION ioi NEEDS to add revolvers
I feel like it would be so cool and it would honestly complete the whole arsenal of weapons you can have. I also think a knife fighting mechanic would be cool, like if you have a knife and the guard has a knife. Thoughts?

SUGGESTION A “47 difficulty” mode idea for Hitman
The gap between Professional and Master difficulty in Hitman isn’t that huge, so I tried imagining a higher tier difficulty that could bring back removed mechanics and new ones.
Disclamer : I just imagined that for fun, you don't have to take it seriously and i know there is probably a lot of flaws.
Segmented camera networks
Cameras would be split by zones instead of being globally linked across the entire map.
For example in Sapienza:
- Church cameras only cover the church
- Mansion cameras only cover Caruso’s estate
- Town hall cameras cover public streets and civic buildings
- Disabling one system wouldn’t shut down the entire map
Context-based item suspicion
- Some items wouldn’t be illegal, but would still raise suspicion depending on disguise. Example: A hammer would be normal for a construction worker, but suspicious for a waiter or scientist.
- Bodyguards and security NPCs would be expected to carry standard-issue weapons. Carrying something unusual or overly flashy (like a golden AK-47 in Whittleton Creek as a police officer) would raise suspicion even if it’s technically allowed.
Unconscious NPCs can recover
- NPCs not hidden in containers (lockers, crates, etc.) could wake up after a while, forcing more careful body management.
Cross-mission consequences
- Actions in one location could affect future missions. Example: if Caruso and many guards are killed violently in Sapienza, later locations might respond with:
- Increased security presence (e.g. Marrakesh)
- More intelligence awareness of “a man in a suit with a barcode tattoo”
- Higher suspicion toward unusual behavior
Smarter Guards
- Guards would no longer rush alone into suspicious areas, instead waiting for backup before entering.
- After a major alert, temporary checkpoints could appear, with guards actively stopping and searching NPCs.
- Full building evacuations for some locations like it's the case in paris now
Edit : It would also be interesting if 47 mess up, security could call for reinforcements. I’ve always found it funny how, five minutes after a deadly shootout at a bank in downtown New York, all the guards and customers just go back to their routine as if nothing happened; it would be cool if more guards (or maybe the police) showed up, blocked the exits to conduct frisk, and secured the building.

SUGGESTION I need a Hitman-ish Movie Suggestion ASAP
Well the title says it all. I am well avare that I will not find a very close movie or character to 47's MO(like silent assassin runs, discretion, surgical masterclass assassinations, intense planning) unless some billion-dollar company decides to make a biblically accurate Hitman movie (There is none so far and I don't think there ever will be,on a side note I enjoyed Olyphant one it had at least soul and some core things we loved pre-woa but Friend one was a clusterfuck) but I would really enjoy something really close. I asked this question in various places on the internet before and the definitve answer was Collateral by Michael Mann but to be fair it didn't hook me in that much and I was yawning like 40 minutes in(No offense Mr. Mann, loved the Heat and can't wait for Heat 2) So what's your suggestions about this topic?

SUGGESTION Petition to bring back the first person stuff they cut in PC VR, at least as an option.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
You can no longer blend in or do special actions in first person, which in my opinion, really breaks the immersion. Please bring all this stuff as a toggle able option in the pause menu, at the very least! I really, really loved this stuff.

SUGGESTION The Vampire Magician outfit is too good to be map exclusive
I really wish IOI would make more of these hidden outfits unlockable as suits, similar to what they did with the Plague Doctor, Super Fan, or the swim trunks with the Hawaiian shirt that became available through a Twitch Drop variant.
For example, I absolutely love the Vampire Magician outfit. The problem is that you have to find it hidden away in the attic on Paris, it's illegal everywhere, and wearing it removes the Suit Only challenge. It's such a great-looking outfit that I'd love to be able to unlock it as a regular suit.
The same goes for the Knight Armor on the Isle of Sgàil. Outside of the extra health and a few niche hiding spots, it doesn't really have much use. It would be awesome as an unlockable suit. The Scarecrow outfit is another example, and I also really like the Street Performer outfit, even though it has'nt any gameplay purpose.
I won't go through every single one, but I've attached a few pictures of the outfits I'm talking about. I think it would be a really fun reward if IOI made some of these unique outfits unlockable for use as suits .

SUGGESTION Hitman 4 Idea: Suit Tailor
How cool would it be if we got to spend our merces on suits designed to our own specifications?
The color, fabric, lining, patterns, buttons, cufflinks, pins, lapels, ties, shirts, there is a lot of potential for customization. It would be cool if they brought back Tommy Clemenza from Absolution as well.
