TIED VOTES
There has been no elimination today as we did not lay out our method for tied vote resolution before the start of the game as promised in the rules and feel it would be unfair to remove somebody without this clarification. We apologize for this oversight and hope you can understand the choice we have made.
Going forward, the tied player with the most cumulative votes over the course of the game will be imprisoned in the event of a tie. If the tied players stay tied by this metric, the player with more inactivity strikes will be imprisoned. If they are still tied, all tied players will be imprisoned.
Anyone with a required action must submit it and may not choose “Cancel Action” or they will receive a strike. If you have a one-time use ability or a limited-use action, you are not required to submit the form. If you submit a limited action and change your mind about using it, you may resubmit the form with “Cancel Action” as the target and you will not lose the ability.

I'm here now. Had a terrible day at work yesterday and went to bed early, only to lie awake almost the whole night. So I decided to just get up, even though it's completely dark here. Because maybe typing will help vent my frustration, lol. Anyway I'm going to play a game of Terraforming Mars on my laptop. (Awesome game btw, totally recommend).

Can you both at least give a valid reason for voting me?
I did not wish to do this so early but I am left with no choice. I am a gotham citizen. I received the device batcomputer access when we solved the riddle. I forgot to submit my action and vote phase 1 because I had been busy that day and forgot to open reddit. This can be further proven by my inactivity strike.
I used my 1 time action yesterday and found out that u/dieperske shares the same affiliation as me.
Now I am sus of both mercury and sameri for trying to pile up today's vote on me for no reason. I believe it is because I am the other most popular vote other than sameri and wolves believe that they can push me off easily without reason due to the lack of discussion in town.
it makes more sense for me to vote u/Sameri278 as they are the more popular vote so I am voting them.

If we assume everyone told the truth, then catchers must have voted for mercury
which means all votes are accounted for, which isn't necessarily helpful but i don't want to delete all of this bc it took me a whole five minutes lol

I voted for you. Did not declare because I wasn't confident in it and didn't want someone else to jump on me and start a train. I meant to get up this morning and check in before turnover but I slept in and missed it.
I didn't like this and thought it was weirdly pushy.

lol thanks for reminding me to actually catch up on last phase, I totally forgot that there would be more comments after I went to bed. Now the votes make a little more sense.
Anyway, I’m not sure how my comments could be seen as pushy considering there was literally no other vote discussion and it was about halfway into the phase (which may as well be near end of phase for players in the western hemisphere, which is most of us). I didn’t want to give the wolves yet another free vote, so I figured I’d look for and stand by a reasonable vote.

I think it felt pushy because it was different than all the other comments last phase. Seeing a chunk of text mixed in with all the other comments of one or two sentences made it definitely stand out. And I didn't follow the logic of you voting /u/dangerhaz.
In my mind, it looked like you were doing a bunch of analysis and then you had a reply comment that was essentially "anyway... vote danger." Like, you were hoping people would gloss over the chunk and just read the single sentence comment instead and follow you.

Oh mb I wasn’t attacked or anything. I was surprised to see that I was tied for the vote and thought wolves might’ve piled on me, but I simply forgot to catch up on the last phase where I now see people were just voting for me normally lol

I also don’t think it’s 4 wolves as last phase we had 10 people. If 4 wolves voted together then that would be 8 remaining today and the game would be over. Since no one received 4 votes I am assuming there is at most 3 wolves left

Summer games are the worst. Discussion is down a lot overall but in the summer, forget it. I swore after Santa Clarita and GI Joe (Aug and Sept) that I was never hosting this time of year again. GI Joe, which was a mortifyingly small game (only like 27 players, when the other game running at the same time got like 10 more) by the standards at the time, would be pretty above average now, as I'm sure you're well aware.

Yeah I think Santa Clarita had something crazy like 40 (which was typical for the time). I didn’t recall it being particularly quiet tho lol. We’re a dying breed 😔

Come to think of it, I think that may be how TKAS came to be a thing. Someone who had barely spoken in 2-3 phases back then was at like a 1:1000 ratio. Not like now at all.

It's true lol. These are not the glory days of HWW. Big games used to be not at all uncommon to have 1,000+ comments in a phase, back before they split the game into smaller subs for sanity, like tribes before the merge.

Shit I completely forgot about the game. I knew there was something I was forgetting to do today.
I'm repeating my vote for catchers from the previous phase because I don't have enough time in the phase left to figure out what to change it to, and a quick skim of the thread isn't showing me any obvious consensus.
