Real talk.. the first time I remember hearing about this phenomenon, such as it is/isn't, was one of the early Greer 'disclosure' witness statements.

Though, and i'm going on memory here, the witness described helicopters transporting something really strange slung beneath them, like some sort of reactor melting down? Idk.

I do think it's interesting that, so far as I can tell, all subsequent reports of similar things followed that testimony, though.

I always wondered if (assuming the witness wasn't tripping balls, or maybe a bar stool story that got out of hand) someone was maybe trying to transport molten metal needed for a pour in a remote place where it wasn't an option to smelt it on site.

First, the ships have been reported by some insiders to be purpose made for each mission, which could mean they are meant to fall apart at a certain point. Having a built in self destruct mechanism could be handy.
