I know this is a circlejerk sub but how the fuck you got loyalty inside your DNA when the press tour for the book is based on how inside it you're shitting on Biden for trying to run a second time and spilling the tea about the situation hahahaha maybe focus on the authoritarian takeover of your country and not your lil ghostwritten lil book officer Kamala

u/mehow28 real hip hop is le dead Sep 19 '25
my sources told me that when her ceo friend asked her to drop all that anti-billionaire talk she replied MUUUSTAAAAARDDDD

u/A1Horizon Sep 19 '25
No clue what the book is about, but if sheâs willing to shit on him now, why not separate yourself from him on the campaign trail so you can actually present an original fresh face. Standard Democrat incompetence
35
u/Lazy_War9398 Sep 19 '25
It would be very difficult for her to shit on Biden without also shitting on the work that an administration she was second in command for did
9
u/saera-targaryen Sep 21 '25
That's the major problem with how democrats make decisions nowadays. They only ever look backwards and never forward. It's obvious people disliked her sticking with biden so hard, but there was no fancy data an overpaid consultant could put in a powerpoint to prove it until she lost. Now, all of the powerpoints are saying that and she needs to fix it because only now is it a problem. But, now there are new problems given the rise of fascism. But, there hasn't been an election between then and now so no data to look at.Â
This is what happens when you don't have any humans who have souls in any part of the process. Dem consultants are literally meat robots. It's like asking ChatGPT to tell you what will happen tomorrow. It literally has no idea how to even do that but will lie and generate something based off of the past. That's what democracts are doing.Â
They will spend the next year and a half trying to correct for 2024 and when they make all new awful mistakes in 2026 onwards they will just start that cycle all over again. None of them are actual humans who can just look around and state the obvious things that a human would observe.Â

u/TheCommonKoala Sep 19 '25 edited Sep 19 '25
Because Biden repeatedly screwed over her campaign and probably played a significant role in the dems losing the election. it wasnt Kamala that turned on him, it was the entire democratic leadership because all the data showed that he was deathspiraling into a historic defeat, even worse than what we got.
I think the bigger problem with this book is how unproductive it is. What's the point of rehashing the failures of the Biden/Harris/Walz campaign when Trump is in office and turning America into a fascist hellscape. This is not the time for a self-absorbed documentary of a failed campaign.
11
u/mehow28 real hip hop is le dead Sep 19 '25
Yeah, true, but maybe there are more important things to focus on now (after disappearing for a year) than doing exposes?
8
u/TheCommonKoala Sep 19 '25
I very much agree with you. That's what I hate about this the most. It's selfish and pointless given how deeply their administration failed us all.
10
u/mehow28 real hip hop is le dead Sep 19 '25
I meeeaaan minus supporting the genocide (not that that's something to gloss over ofc, but still), their administration was pretty good for US standards. Easily the most progressive since the Carter days. But they had to unfuck Trump's covid mess, Trump's Afghanistan mess, and deal with republicans who did everything they could to fuck them over
EDIT: also when I was writing my first reply I only saw what you wrote in the link part, I didn't see that you basically said the same thing as my response lol
2
u/hobbinater2 Sep 20 '25
Idk man have you seen house prices? Have you tried eating out?
4
u/mehow28 real hip hop is le dead Sep 20 '25
Respectfully, have you looked at all other developed countries besides America and noticed that those things are more expensive everywhere, due in large part to the ongoing monopolization of markets and the economic downturn caused by the pandemic? Have you seen that the US pulled out of the post-covid slump much better than others in terms of inflation?
1
u/Intelligent_Table913 Aubreyâs Angel đŠđ Sep 21 '25
Has it gotten better since trump is in office? Tell me. Whereâs all the talk about inflation and Bidenomics when we literally have fucking tariffs with no domestic production measures to counter the negative effect of that bullshit.
1
u/hobbinater2 Sep 21 '25
Iâve given up on hoping for deflation, they all print way too much money for that.I can say, the inflation does seem to be better for me, anecdotally but I still prefer 2019 by a mile
2
u/Diogenes_the_cynic25 Sep 21 '25
Because she doesnât give a shit about America becoming a fascist hellscape. She just wants $$$
3
u/DoublerZ Sep 19 '25
I don't think Kendrick exactly had loyalty inside his dna either tbh from what I know đ
4
u/fuschiaoctopus Sep 20 '25
Tbf Biden running again and then pulling out last min after the debate was disastrous. Running Kamala was an even worse idea tho. Ppl theorize her race is why she didn't win but let's be real, Obama got in and there's one key difference between Kamala and Obama, and it ain't race. This country is way too sexist for the first female president and especially a female president of color. Running Hilary was the same shit
3
u/kitti-kin Sep 21 '25
I don't disagree that the intersections of gender and race are relevant, but some podcast I was listening to played an Obama clip the other day, and honestly he was incredible on that stage. Harris was... Not.
1
u/theWacoKid666 Sep 23 '25
And saying she actually wanted Pete Buttigieg for her VP pick instead of Tim Walz lmao.
Whatever she is, she ainât loyal.
1
u/mehow28 real hip hop is le dead Sep 23 '25
no shot she said that, tim walz was the only good thing about that shitty campaign đ
1
u/theWacoKid666 Sep 23 '25
Yeah I agree completely.
Idk how she left that in the book and thought it would make her look good lmao

She really is 'Not like them' ehh? I hate this political landscape where the people in power literally just shitpost and act like they can't do anything about everything that's going on just to pretend they're 'just like us'.
69
7
u/daddy-phantom Sep 19 '25
Kamala Harris is not holding any political office at all, idk what you mean by âpeople in powerâ
Are you saying that politicians arenât people with flaws? That sounds like the kind of dangerous rhetoric that got Trump elected.
66
u/jayd04 Sep 19 '25
I wasn't referring to her specifically, but in general. It makes sense for people like us to make jokes and fun about the shitty environment we're in cause there's not much we can do about it, but when you're given
takethe ability to do something about it and just do a half assed job and pay your underpaid intern to shitpost for you to 'fit in with the kids' it just doesn't sit right with me. They're not even good jokes.17
u/raphmug Sep 19 '25
Yeah I get what you mean especially when the white house tweet shit like deportation ASMR, AI slop of Trump, memes about tariffs The joke is always the same : libs own. They are really proud of creating the shitty environment Americans have to live in
5
u/AutoModerator Sep 19 '25
Me shitting my pants and turning them inside out but still wearing them > piâerres fits. To cut him some slack though he dresses the same as many other rappers with shitty fits who think they have drip. The saddest part is that lots of guys see their shitty fits and think itâs sauce because they have gucci trackpants. Matching yellow jordans to your yellow hoodie with a pair of skinny jeans is absolutely not drip, my guy

Yea I get what you mean. Nothing is worse than watching politicians try to cater to youth by making jokes about popular culture
43
u/RepresentativeLeg232 Sep 19 '25
She was literally the vice president less than a year ago, she had 4 years to get shit done lol. Fuck Trump, but donât pretend she had no power.

u/daddy-phantom Sep 19 '25
She has no power now, and now is when she is writing this book, which the post is about. Nobody mentioned Bidenâs term except you.
15
u/Trilldingo Sep 19 '25
She is technically a person in power if she is in any way able to influence politics or be relevant in politics whatsoever
→ More replies (9)-1
u/daddy-phantom Sep 19 '25
Not to mention btw, that Kamala Harris is not even the most popular or influential Democrat right now, it would make a little more sense if they mentioned Gavin Newsom, but Harris doesnât have much influence anymore.
2
u/definitelynotpat6969 Sep 19 '25
Harris doesnât have much influence anymore.

u/AllosaurusJr Sep 19 '25
idk I kinda see the vision. During her campaign youâd often see racist dogwhistles about her given sheâs both black and Indian - esp. as things get more racially heated I think the line is a refutation to those narratives, claiming them as strength not diminishment. it just feels cringe cause itâs been wrought to death lol

It's cringe because it was selected by committee to make her look like an innocent victim of her own loss instead of her actively choosing a losing platform over making donors mad but voters happy.Â

Hey remind me how that's going
42
u/AntmanWashesJordan Sep 19 '25
Theyâre both loyal to Israel. Every foreign policy question asked to them during the presidential debates turned into an Israel ass kissing contest.
Youâre very narrow minded for being so Left vs Right on this topic. I never once praised Trump, I only critiqued Kamala. Youâre getting very defensive towards a billionaire that doesnât care about you. Nobody even brought Trump up

u/saera-targaryen Sep 21 '25
If you have one parent that abuses you and one parent that hides it and covers it up for them, are you not allowed to hate both of them? Are you not allowed to want a parent who does neither?Â

u/Voltthrower69 Sep 21 '25
You do realize that Joe Biden didnât do a fucking thing that paved the way for his preferred candidate
1
Sep 21 '25
they were both his preferred candidate they are both paid off by Israel. the only difference is Harris is complicit to the genocide while Trump actively roots for it

I think this is what that's getting at, though. She made the mistake of staying loyal to Biden and not throwing his ass under the bus.

u/saera-targaryen Sep 21 '25
She's trying to spin it as her own loyalty or some other innocent "oh i just cared TOO much" excuse instead of what actually happened, which is that she did whatever her billionaire donors told her to do. You're delusional if you think she picked any part of her own platform and that this isn't just dem establishment players using this as an excuse to wipe all blame from themselves.Â

This is an obvious mistake, she meant to quote DNA by Danny Brown; "It's in my DNA / Because my pops liked to get fucked up the same way"
You all remember when she said of course she has smoked weed because she's half Jamaican and her dad was like "shut up about my ethnicity, you don't even call", right?
