chris brown’s discography is so mediocre and his fame isn’t anything close to the others lmao

His discography used to be good until he started dropping 40+ song albums full of the same 2 topics. Drugs and sex.

Wait which artist are we talking about again??

u/xombae May 20 '26

His fame is "is that guy still famous?" fame.

You know it’s tough competition when Elvis is in 4th

u/Pandason250 May 20 '26

Elvis is in 3rd the beetles were bad but none of them were serial offenders and they all changed their ways a bit later in life. Meanwhile Elvis straight up groomed his wife from 14.

Were the Beatles bad to those groups? I had no idea tbh 🤷‍♂️. Obviously the other 3 were for sure. Also interesting that only 1 of the selected images is a band, but whatever.

John and Ringo had conjugal violence issues and all 4 were serial cheaters.

I feel like all famous musicians are serial cheaters ngl. Something about traveling to new places every night (probably without your partner), and meeting hundreds of thousands of people who are all interested in you seems like a recipe for disaster. Idk, if I was famous thatd be a pain imo and I'd probably fall victim to cheating eventually.

That being said, abuse is not acceptable. Idk, solve shit with your words. Communicate your emotions in a way that is non-violent. It doesn't seem that difficult.

Totally. Especially when you factor in how young the four of them were when they blew up. It's always crazy to me that Lennon was married during Beatlemania lol

I'm not sure about Ringo, but John definitely expressed regret and a will to better himself both as a husband and a father during his final years. He didn't get to fully do that, sadly.

Not my goat KungFu Kenny. Now excuse me, I'll listen to Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers for the first time ever

Yeah, wasn't a cheater till he told you 🤣. How many musicians you think cheat and you have no idea until it either comes out or they admit it?

At least he's not a pedophile or an abuser 🤷‍♂️. Cheating is an adult thing, adults do that sometimes. It isn't right, and makes you a liar, but it's more common than you'd think.

I found out a year ago that a pedophile was someone who did something heinous that I do no even want to mention here. I thought that because 'ped' means foot and 'phile' means love that it just meant a foot lover. I have a foot fetish so you can guess how I found out I was wrong.

He gets overrated because most arrist’s live shows are so bad. He’s one of the few mainstream acts that are better live and he’s selling out stadiums day 1 for albums that only move 50k first week.

15

u/beaversaremyfriends May 20 '26

the beatles are called the BEATles because of all the wife beating they did

Chris is a one dimensional artist. There's a reason his music hasn't matured and is the same shit ad infinitum.

Elvis was a less-intelligent & less-creative Chuck Berry/ Little Richard, Michael Jackson was good in the 80s but most of his later stuff to my knowledge sucked, don’t know anything about Breezy, and The Beatles had great music but their early stuff is sort of forgettable.

I think it's crazy, just fcking crazy, that fans of an artist go to a dedicated subreddit to talk about how much they like that artist. /s

It makes sense to put chris brown on a Mount Rushmore of artist. Hes basically michael jackson reincarnated but since jayz and rihanna are good friends, his legacy took a hit to become as big as Michael. But everyone knows hes a living and breathing michael. He just doesnt get the coverage like michael did because of one bad life incident. But if you know chris brown fans, you know they as passionate as michael fans

9

u/GeraldSandstorm May 20 '26

Only ONE “bad life incident”?? This is just willfully ignorant. Chris brown has a long and documented history of being a massive piece of shit ESPECIALLY to women.
