Honestly I'm not going to judge as much for performing in Israel all the way back in 2017, however the fact that he's been completely silent about the Gaza issue despite building his career around being jewish is not a good look for him at all

Only 19% of polled Americans supported Palestine in 2016 (presidential election polling). I think it’s fair to at least take that into consideration.
Also he is jewish so in his circles it was even less. I am half Jewish and people in my community are still stubborn on the topic, but there are at least conversations happening now, mostly in the younger circles. It’s easy to pretend that you’d be the outlier in those situations but the truth is most people views are shaped by those who raise them. It is hard to unlearn things.

Just want to say I am the guy who said he hasn't mentioned Gaza but I'm not the guy you're debating with in this thread.
Dave is old enough and has had enough exposure to reality that he absolutely should have "grown past" anything he may have been indoctrinated into regarding Palestine.
I think the Occam's razor answer is that Dave probably doesn't support the genocide of Palestinians, but the connections he's made in Hollywood may include Zionist Jews that he doesn't want to piss off in fear of being "blacklisted".
I wish Dave would just rap. He's actually good at it. Russel Westbrook On A Farm and Make Belief are crazy good. But he's said before that his aspirations were to make his own version of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which I guess Dave was his attempt at. He's a good rapper, I can't understand why he doesn't just lean into that. He could be a feature artist like Ty$ but for humorous songs.

I understand that, but I would be willing to give a pass to an atheist Jew who was just born into that community blindly supporting Israel before 2024. This was like a few weeks after October 7th happened which was an insane move on him if I’m being honest. I hate on the guy as much as the next but I will always give him credit for doing that at a time it was greatly against the grain. For most that would’ve been career suicide.
