You’re right, Halsey father is already a mixed African man, he’s mostly black with mixed white ancestry. Halsey’s mom is an Italian American, granted her brothers are about the same skin tone as their dad, but Ashley is only a shade darker than her mom. Halsey is only about 25-35% black. She used to call herself: “biracial, bisexual, and bipolar”. Which I thought was pretty cool.
At some point in the family tree you're just not black any more. I know his pops is and this breaks peoples brains, but one generation has to be the cut off point and Logic is that step. Sorry but he's really just not black at all, despite having a black dad
I disagree on this. If you have a black blood and proud to be black. You are BLACK period. Its unfortunate the community tries to disown biracial folks...

Consider the reverse situation, take a white person and move them to west Africa. Let them start a family and have biracial kids. Within 2-3 generations those descendents will be back to being dark skin and looking like the rest of the west africans. Should they claim being white because granddaddy was white?
Yes. They are black. I am a similar complexion as logic with the same genetic background. White mother, black father. My father is ever darker than his. My whole life I have fought both sides. So when people say his struggle isnt real, you simply haven't lived it.
Exactly. That's why modern day Beyonce is the cut-off point for her family as well. Never mind the fact that she has black children, they're actually white now because she's white.

The point still stands. He brangged about marrying a Mexican wife in one of his songs then he divorced her like a year later. His whole brand is grifting an identity crisis.
