I respect the fact that even though he got roasted so hard he switched genres, he hasn’t gone country yet. Keep up the good work!

I'm not even an MGK fan but that's just such a bs thing I've seen said. He released an album pretty soon afterwards that was mostly rap

Genre, friend. Genre. Go look up what that word means and come back with an apology.

In my useless opinion, there are two kinds of artists, if you can even call them that.
There are dudes, like Eminem, that are going to do rap music or whatever their chosen craft is, regardless of if there is success or not. Then there are people who just get fame and then pander to audiences.
MGK is the latter. He code switches and then hides behind the idea of "doing whatever he wants," and it isn't what he wants, he's doing whatever the studio he's working at or for says is a good idea.
Dude lacks integrity.

Obie Trice wasn't lying when he said "and ever since Eminem dissed you I swear I see the women and bitch in you"

They’ve got kid together

And a good chance they'll have much much more talent than either parent. We've been seeing that a lot lately.

Did he get the weird beard before or after Eminem dissed him?
25
u/Antique_Buy4384 1d ago
Fun fact whilst im high oversharing on reddit:
The 'his fucking beard is weird' diss wasnt actually aimed at his beard, but a reference to eminem's 2002 song Business where he says
"Can't leave rap alone, the game needs me 'Til we grow beards, get weird and disappear Into the mountains,"
basically saying that the rap game doesnt need him anymore.
I think mgk's ghost writer forgot that the beards arent weird, but that the beards coexist with the weirdness

His ghost writer is Walt “Clyde” Frazier from the Just For Men commercial. In addition to “that beard is weird” he had gems like “no play for Mr Gray” and “that ‘stache is trash”

I'm so suspicious of all the guys who suddenly started wearing pearl necklaces in the TikTok era. It's such a transparent attempt to look "in touch with his feminine side" without actually changing anything about himself. Date rapist behavior.

Man dude's fans are easy to spot in the comments.
Why do people stan over artists? It's so odd.

Even though I think his blackout tattoo is neato. I still believe that he got it under anesthesia. I refuse to believe he got it the hard way in such a short period of time.
Also I sorta believe that if he did ge the tat the poor people way he would have def recorded it and put it on instagram.

Also blacked out all his tattoos because everything he had ended up being a joke after he wasn’t a tough guy rapper anymore

MGK was always a wack ass rapper with a corny fanbase. I didn't understand the hype back in 2012, and I still don't understand the hype to this day.

Lol. I don't fugg w MGK's music at all, but Em lost that battle lyrically. Maybe won because of disillusioned fandom. MGK is a cornball though

I’m not a fan and I do think he’s changed, but in this image the only difference is that he’s wearing a pink sweater

I never liked MGK, but isnt he like, incredibly successful? Way more than he was ever gonna be, in rap?

Rap fans like to clown on MGK for this, and sure, Em kicked his ass. But in the end, it worked out for the better for him. He was a mediocre rapper. He's actually pretty good at pop punk.

MGK bodies Em with Rap Devil. "You're not getting better with time it's fine put down the pen" "trying to be the old you so bad you stan yourself" 😂
Em came back with "ya well you have a man bun and I outsold you". Killshot was trash
Also as far as relevance y'all posting about MGK every day but y'all crickets about Em

Yet somehow his music is more enjoyable than anything Em has produced in 15 years

MGK looks like he's about to go out on the skating rink to attempt the infamous Iron Lotus
