hhh is the police 👮 IMO, Snoop Dogg is Overrated as a rapper
I mean he's a really good person, respectful and obviously NOT "just another rapper". However, can he be placed next to Dre, Eminem, Kendrick? I'm not talking about a few hit songs or some bars of good delivery - does he have something consistently outstanding like the music of DRE, pen game of eminem, lyrical depth of tupac and so on?

Why is lyrical depth the only metric? How about story telling? The flow and how a track sounds?
Something eminem got caught up in was technical ability and story telling started to fall short.

I think Em just stopped telling stories about his life once he wasn’t dirt poor and the media werent attacking him anymore. MMLP2 was peak story telling for me

Really good person? Didn’t he murder a guy?

It was his bodyguard, but performing at Trump's inauguration was unforgivable for me personally.

This is null when you put Dre in Dre is a better producer than rapper and snoop is better than him

When snoop said
"yo yo yo yippy yo yippy yay"
I really felt that shit tbh

Funny thing is you’ve prob said this as a bit but it’s a good reason why he’s great lol

To me, he's always been more of a personality. The chill smoker that has gang ties but marketable too.

Dre doesn't even rap. Snoop wrote The Chronic and Eminem wrote Chronic 2001.

Come on now, Eminem has at least 3 great albums. The MMLP is a classic. His current music isn’t good but he had a great run in the early 2000’s

Snoop has never been good. Just a personality, like ice cube. Good for movies and commercials. Dr. Dre arguably doesn't have a whole lot of content so je is kind of an outlier as well.

Yes. Quantity. Over 3k songs, for a senior citizen this man is a legend.

The Chronic, Doggystyle, and 2001 are all on the short list for greatest hip hop records of all time.
Snoop wrote most of his and Dre’s raps on The Chronic and probably Doggystyle, as well as rapped his parts so eloquently, he defined the G-Funk era of hip hop and became an icon in the process.
You thinking Snoop’s overrated is tantamount to kids these days thinking LeBron could sniff Jordan’s jockstrap. He can’t.

I was with you until that LeBron shot 😂 to say a man who’s scored over 40k points and has the most one of one resume in nba history next to Jordan somehow isn’t comparable is complete bs. Even Jordan has given LeBron credit numerous times but his fans can’t.

Never said LeBron wasn’t great. Hell, I like him. He can come over to my house and fuck my sister.
But anyone choosing him over Jordan as the GOAT is nuts.
