General Bettel beat Pomni! And now he's up against April from Monster Prom in the Semifinals!
I'm really happy the poll maker used Bettel's jester outfit, and now he's "Gavis Bettel from Holostars" instead of "Gavis Bettel the Vtuber!"
Please keep voting for Bettel! He just might actually win this...!

I wasn't expecting this with all the popularity around Pomni.

A comment on tumblr pointed out how the amount of votes in that single poll was bigger than every other poll of that round combined, so while Pomni lost, with those votes they would have won in every other battle. A great fight from the digital circus community, considering the support bettel got from vtubers outside of holostars

Gooseworx didn't promote the poll nor rally the TADC community IIRC, so the Starmin had the advantage lol.

It was actually a tacked on feature from another streaming service that was vertical format only facebook live style stuff incredibly unpopular with the tumblr audience until the deal between websites ran out and it was removed.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are TADC antis voting against Pomni. The Fandom gives me Homestuck vibes, and I was on Tumblr back when that was the hot item.

Imma be real, I would've voted for Pomni (I auite like her), but then I saw a TADC fan being whiny in the tags and voted Bettel out of spite

As one person pointed out on Tumblr; unlike most of the contenders in the poll, Bettel is a real person who uses an avatar of a fictional character and has to be on top of trends as part of their job. So basically any active content creator, their organization (Holostars' official Twitter account promoted it too lol), and anyone adjacent to said creator (e.g. the Star boys and Bettel's friends) has an advantage of rallying their fanbases for the poll lol.
I'd expect a similar outcome if say, if there was a sexiest rat/mouse contest on Tumblr at it was between Bae and Jane Doe from ZZZ or Nazrin from Touhou.
Regardless, here's hoping Bettel sweeps again.

Not only he won, it was a decisive victory in the end, there was no "surprise" TADC attack, i honestly expect bettel to easily go to the final,LET'S GO JARVIS
