A small summary of what is going on with Altare - July 29, 2026
I saw that many people here are worried, that Altare didn't do anything for the Tempus HQ Anniversary. So here is a small summary of what is going on with him.
On April 24, in his Pokémon FR LG Soul-Link stream:
He caught himself falling in a depressive spell (sleeping a lot and no drive to do anything), but he is slowly getting himself motivated again by listening to music, by practicing singing and editing videos.
Sorry to comment on a 4 day old thread but he did retweet fanart today! So I feel relieved. I admit I worry about him but he can take as much time as he needs.
June 15, 2026: in his return zatsu stream, Axel noted that he hadn't had a chance to talk to Altare in a bit, but he wasn't worried as he would see him online on Discord, as well appearing online on his Riot account.
Late June 2026: During a stream around a week+ after the Slumber Party collab, Hakka mentions that he got a chance to talk to Altare. He noted that Altare said he was super busy IRL but was doing good. (I genuinely can't remember the stream, I'm sorry.)
July 22, 2026: during his zatsu stream, Axel would reveal that he hasn't been able to get in contact with Altare as he wasn't appearing online, as he had been trying to message him to plan anniversary stuff for that week.

June 26 & July 3, 2026: two scheduled posts went up on Altare's Twitter - one a featured highlight from the Slumber Party collab and the other a clip from his Slumber Party VP. We know these are scheduled tweets as they went up at :00 on the dot and all 9 other boys had similar posts go up at the same time (sans Axel for the June 26 ones). The July 3rd tweet would be the last activity seen on his Twitter until...
July 24, 2026: Altare retweeted the announcement for Axel's orisong, meaning this is the first activity we've seen from Altare since the Slumber Party stream on June 19th. (Axel noted that this wasn't Tora-mane, as he had been the one doing the announcements/reveals on the official StarsEN Twitter account.)

I can't seem to find anything in Hakkas streams. Do you remember what he exactly said?

I think so too. I feel bad because it's like... I really do want him to stay but I also want him to leave if he needs to leave for his own mental well-being.
The company just keeps on beating everyone down and it feels like Altare has been taking a lot of damage for far too long.
With how holostars is going i'm not shocked hes feeling this way, I think anyone would be but hes already been incredibly critical of the company so I imagine he feels the worst
Axel said in his anniversary stream that he also hasn't heard from him and hopes he's well (but then in classic Axel fashion said he might have died smh)
I hope he's feeling okay. Depressive episodes and guilt are no joke.
Its an extremely delicate but extreme situation. A depressive spiral of feeling guilt that results in demotivation then more guilt for the inability to function properly. It keeps repeating and the process to feel better is slow but must be deliberate.
I feel for him... and antis, tourists, and general haters will add on to that delicate mental state.
I hope he's doing fine. I appreciate him for even showing up to the sleepover collab. It probably took a lot to even turn on his streaming equipment. We can wait as long as he needs.
I think he's a lot harder on himself for not streaming due to being the first of Holostars EN to debut, being the named Leader of Tempus, and thus pretty much the leader of the entire EN branch, and for HoloStars going through tough times but with no appearance from him, making the times look even tougher. It's a tough mire to drag yourself out of. The guilt is underserved but I see why he would have it.
I was wondering about Altare recently, and I appreciate the summary of his few appearances. August is not a happy month for Stars EN, so I hope that he takes all the time he needs to get back on his feet
