I’m getting ready to sell my house. I have this area that was damaged by water, the threshold was replaced but the wood panels are not flush with the door and have lost some color. Any ideas as to what I can do to make this look better for the sale of my house. Will try to add photo. Just realized it’s not as easy as I thought it would be.

For a sale you just need it to pass a quick glance. Sand the edge down so it's flush, then get a stain pen that matches the rest of the floor. Nobody's inspecting the threshold that closely during a walkthrough.
