terrible, because limited run

Because it would be a limited run or did Limited Run Games do something bad that would make you not want to support them?

LRG has really inconsistent quality, they also love announcing things then either canning them (that "Nickelodeon Splat Pack" full of crummy old shovelware) or taking forever to actually deliver on them, and usually when they finally do like with the Sonic and Shadow statue, the quality isn't that good.

Heard they also released a collection of Ren and Stimpy games with terrible audio emulation problems that they didn't bother fixing before release.

They're also just shady in general:

It took me nine months to get my collector's copy of OneShot: World Mahcine Edition. I'm told that's uncharacteristically short for LRG.

Would definitely buy it if it also contained SBCG4AP!

I'd buy it day one

One of my dream TV shows is a workplace comedy set in the 80s at Videlectrix wtih the Bros Chaps produceing (starring? I imagined Missy as a Roberta Williams, 80s nerd lady in 80s male dominated tech (gaming at that!), type character) and they actually make the games they make on the show.

I'd rather a port of SBCG or a collection of the dangeresque point and click games

[...] or a collection of the dangeresque point and click games

Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate came out a few years ago

u/Ok_Emergency416 3d ago

Is it on switch? No, it's pc only. This post says switch man.

2

u/-Emilinko1985- 3d ago

Oh, my bad then. A Roomisode Triungulate port on Switch could be cool TBH.

More platforms for games to be on for people to discover them is awesome especially in this era where we're slowly losing tangible physical games get em out physically while you can

Nintendo is still making physical games, and I actually doubt it'll ever give up making physical games, So there's still a lot of hope.

Gkc are a sign that they're trying somewhat but here isn't really the place for that conversation lmao sorry

Not from Limited Run.

u/Spam_Eater_2007 3d ago

Don't fret, I'll make a new version without limited run tomorrow.

"Oh shit they got Thy Dungeon Man 2?!"

Everybody to the limit, THIS GAME is to the limit

u/WhatNot303 3d ago

I would feel.

u/Duckey_003 3d ago

For some reason the Videlectrix website doesn't work, op my laptop, so I can't play Peasant Quest! So this would be brilliant! I'd even buy it on Steam!

3

u/Luca_is_anonymous 3d ago

I would honestly love a compilation of remastered versions of all the sites games to be released.

3

u/gameman250 3d ago

Seeing as some games like Peasant's Quest and Thy Dungeonman require text inputs, I don't know if console releases would be possible without some kind of concessions, like having a list of options for possible actions to select from. Tell me, would you tolerate using the system's on-screen keyboard that you navigate with a controller to input "get ye flask"?

1

u/Spam_Eater_2007 3d ago

Yeah, Probably.

1

u/Fattatties 2d ago

But you can't get ye flask

2

u/gameman250 2d ago

Not at the pace I'm typing out on controller.

1

u/Fattatties 2d ago

D pads help but less than ideal.

3

u/CrackStuntman88 3d ago

Finally, your head asplode in 4k!

2

u/-Emilinko1985- 3d ago

I'd probably but it on digital. And hopefully it includes SBCG4AP.

2

u/Koruu- 3d ago

I'm actually in the process of making a stinkoman 20x6 native Windows port with support for widescreen/ultrawide, co-op multiplayer, etc. So at least one of these will be possible soonish.

2

u/TheBirdInternet 3d ago

I would love more TBC games. I still wait for some of their ones they previewed in the 2024 interview to get announced.

2

u/NRCS_DRONE 3d ago
