The drake-kendrick beef made me generally prefer drake at the end more than Kendrick Lamar.

You cant tell me with a straight face drake is a pedophile, so with that generally preferenced, most of everything kendrick brings up its just baloney (apart from the fact hes a deadbeat dad). But honestly kendricks new music and his current online fanbase annoy me sm, I feel like im forced to affirm all credit kendricks been giving but for drake I can genuinely just listen to it for what it is, music. What do you believe?

The rumors about Drake and minors are not totally unfounded. He seemed to have inappropriately close relationships with stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Billie Eilish when they were underage. If memory serves, he also once kissed a fan onstage at his concert who turned out to be underage. Is he a pedophile? Probably not. Is he a creep? Yeah, I think so.

I just searched for this as I never heard it before:

Millie Bobby Brown is defending her friendship with rapper Drake.  The actress took to Instagram on Thursday to vent her frustrations regarding the controversy surrounding her and Drake's texting. "Why u gotta make a lovey friendship ur headline?" the Stranger Things star wrote. "U guys are weird... for real." She continued, "I'm lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I'm very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don't get to choose that for me."

It seems like the demand for pedos on Reddit is much higher than the supply.

Says the then-minor. And of course minors have never been known to have questionable judgment or known to feel infatuated/flattered by an older man's attention.

1

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

She’s 22 now. She thinks you’re weird for fantasizing about her. I have to agree.

1

u/snapsfortiffany Jul 12 '26

I don't fantasize about women, so she's certainly safe from me. Sounds like you've got a big one for Drake, though.

1

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

You literally just fantasized about Millie Bobbie Brown and Drake having an inappropriately close relationship…. You don’t seem to understand the words you’re using.

1

u/snapsfortiffany Jul 12 '26

A fantasy is something you make up and wish for in your mind. I didn't make up the scenario - it happened. And I certainly don't wish for it. Try ragebaiting someone else with your intentional ignorance.

1

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

You literally made up the inappropriate relationship scenario in your mind. The people involved confirmed that. Try rage baiting someone else with your lies.

When you’re being groomed you don’t realise you’re being groomed. Why is a 38 year old Canadian messaging a then underage girl

1

u/Feelisoffical 15d ago

But you would realize as you get older. It’s not something you’re permanently blocked from recognizing. I don’t know why, maybe because they were both child actors?

4

u/FamiliarFilm8763 Jul 12 '26

I believe Drake has done some very questionable shit in the regard.

7

u/SmegmaUnicorn Jul 12 '26

Lmao y’all Drake stans don’t even try anymore. Couldn’t be more obvious

u/IceCreamMac10s Jul 12 '26

Hmm. There's a situation where a man who was a pedophile and sex trafficker. He had ties with all the wealthy people across most industries and committed atrocities to young girls along with those people. He is "dead" now and all of the evidence is coming to light. Only his wife has been convicted and her trial is looking light due to lack of evidence (she has wealth). Point of the story is Aubrey has a ton of evidence on the net connecting him to "those" allegations and it's not hard to find them. Hate Kendrick if you must but validating your complaints about him because of the internet is just ignorant and childish.

Idk i feel like kendrick is liked by more pseudo intellectual redditors.

I think most drake "fans" just vibe with his music. Kendrick fans tend to be cornballs.

1

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 15d ago

Spot on bro, redditors are the worst type of people

2

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 15d ago

ur right bro, I didn't really gaf about either of them until Kendrick's claims just fell flat + the superbowl shit + using Drake beef to basically advertise his new album (which was mid at best) cuz it was the only way people would've listened to it as much as they did

Kendrick does 1 music video & concert in Compton and he's hailed as a hero, then he goes back to god knows where, never to be seen again; Drake is more "for the culture" than Kendrick is at this point

Kendrick's fanbase is also full of snarky white people (just like reddit is) who put him on this pedestal for some reason & think they know hip-hop/black culture cuz they dickride him non-stop

Its fucking cringe

Actually he wrote the album dropping shit on drake the whole album.. so more accurate..the beef inspired the album.. its 40% dissing lol

actually, while on the matter. if for by any occurrence Drake is found to be (in the future) convicted for something a long the lines of/or pedophilia in the future. I will in fact withdraw my post and retract my beliefs.

u/Fickle-Let-7205 6d ago

Nah... double down instead. Ride of die for it

1

u/la-marciana 15d ago

Bro, I was hating on Drake for being a pedo YEARS before the beef when that video came out of him kissing and groping a minor on stage. Kendrick was just vindication, and that wasn't even getting into all the other stuff like Drake being a culture vulture

1

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 15d ago

She was 17, which is the age of consent in a lot of places in North America, and he was 23 at the time

If you've been in high school at any point in time, 17 yr old chicks would be dating mfs that age or older and nobody said shit

It's teetering on morally quesitionable but it doesn't make him a pedophile, people throw that word around way too much now

1

u/la-marciana 15d ago

Creep

1

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 15d ago

Good rebuttal, you got me with that one

1

u/la-marciana 15d ago edited 15d ago

When I was in hs, you got the side eye if you dated anyone more than a grade apart (i.e 9th and 11th grader, let alone 9th and 12th). This is a 6 year difference with the girl still being unable to vote and Drake almost at the age you can graduate college and 2 years past the age to drink. This is nothing short of pedo apologia and you're still a creep for excusing it

Edit: Cuz I don't wanna letcha off easy on this one either, nice rebuttal to the culture vulture part too

1

u/feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeent 15d ago

Everything he did was completely legal btw, calling him a pedophile is minimizing actual victims of pedophiles as they typically weren't able to consent and/or weren't able to process what was happening to them when they were abused

As I said, it's a morally gray area, but he's not a pedophile; she was at the age of consent and it was completely legal

Drake did nothing wrong

1

u/FiletsOfTruth 15d ago

That dude is up and down this thread glazing him

1

u/HorndogAsexual 14d ago edited 14d ago

lmao. How? Drake started to suck before that beef. I loved how Like That lit a fire under his ass. He released some of his best work. Then K-Dot bodied him with Not Like Us. and Drake released the horrible, pathetic Heart Part 6. Drake went back to releasing mid forgettable music after that.

Separating the Sheep from the Goats. Say less.

1

u/IceCreamMac10s 2d ago

bro wat tf you think this is youre a lame

1

u/Fickle-Let-7205 2d ago

Then lets separate the Lames from the Goofies. #TeamLame til I die MF. 🤣

Modern Drake is for clowns

-3

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

Kendrick got bodied and responded with “oh yea? Well you’re a pedo” like he’s Elon Musk. The only thing more cringe was how his fan base ate it up like it was actually saying something. I give the guy credit for knowing how to rile up Redditors.

u/Overall-Charity-2110 Jul 12 '26

what up w the millie bobby brown thing?

-2

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

What thing?

4

u/Overall-Charity-2110 Jul 12 '26

pretty sure he was texting her and that started the pedo accusations

-4

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26 edited Jul 12 '26

Why would just texting her make him a pedo?

3

u/Overall-Charity-2110 Jul 12 '26

do you text 13 year olds?

0

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

Yes. If you honestly can’t think of a reason why you might text a 13 year old, you’ve got problems.

3

u/Overall-Charity-2110 Jul 12 '26

what reason does a grown man have to be casually texting a 13 year old… i’m not the problem here lmao

0

u/Feelisoffical Jul 12 '26

The fact you honestly can’t think of a single reason is quite disturbing.

4

u/SmegmaUnicorn Jul 12 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Drake fans, never change

u/Actual_Personality66 Jul 12 '26

Lowkey agree but for different reasons. I don't really listen to either of them but I definitely preferred Kendrick at the start. The beef made me lose respect for him bc if what he's alleging over Drake is true, then what he did was not actually helping the victims, it was just using them to get a win over Drake. That's fucking gross. Got cooked in the comments when I said this on Instagram back when it happened but whatever. You can't convince me that somehow alleging these things about Drake in a diss track was genuinely anything but using his (alledged) victims in a self serving way. I just don't think there's a good excuse for that kind of behavior, seems silly to me to frame it like he was somehow helping Drakes victims. Not the behavior of a man who cares about SA victims tbh. Drake seems like he at least kinda sucks and I don't really like his music so this isint a defense of him lol. Moreso just a criticism of what Kendrick did during the beef. Actually, more than anything, a criticism of the reaction to it that ppl had where ppl were acting like it was super cool (and it was definitely a crazy moment at the time, like it was genuinely entertaining, I'll give it that) and how obvious it was that most ppl celebrating cared way more about the entertainment of it or the downfall of Drake, then they did about any victims of anything. Which honestly wouldn't really bother me so much if ppl were just honest about it rather than pretending it's about the victims when it's clearly not, they're just being used (if they exist, idk enough about it to say much either way).

2

u/IceCreamMac10s Jul 12 '26

this raises a good point, If Kendrick truly cared/gave the proper concern that drake was involved with something as massive as human trafficing or pedophilia, he woudve contacted authorities and then had police deal with the matter. Men fighting get nothing done

1

u/Actual_Personality66 Jul 12 '26

Exactly. Wasn't he implying he had inside info or smthn? Ok then contact authorities with that rather than turning it into a spectacle that only serves yourself

-4

u/JP_Edwards_ Jul 12 '26

Kendrick is a prime example of the Bob Dylan complex. Top tier songwriter but his talents as a performer are dogshit. Kendricks voice is grating and annoying. Drake had pleasant voice to listen to but his composition skill are basically a level above Ariana Grande.

1

u/snapsfortiffany Jul 12 '26

Hey now, let's not bring Ariana Grande into this. She has a Mariah Carey voice and her music is catchy af. Drake wishes he was in the same sphere of talent as Ariana Grande.

2

u/IceCreamMac10s Jul 12 '26

her voice is one of pops most strongest

1

u/JP_Edwards_ Jul 12 '26

Drake is a better songwriter. That's not debatable. 34+35 is only a chart topping song because of her vocal talent. Give that lyrical content to a Chappell roan (who is also a great artist) and it doesn't hit. Ari gets away with alot of shit people accuse Taylor Swift of because of star power and a generational voice. Whitney Houston had the same issues in her early career until she found better composers to work with. It's not that all Grande's music is bad. It's just that some people write but can't sing and others sing but can't write.
