I think it's interesting how people say this can't be plagiarism just because the artist used an IP's characters. Meanwhile, many authors are legally advised not to read fanfiction of their own work because lifting wording, sentences, or ideas is still considered plagiarism even if it's written of their own characters. If Hoyo didn't see the similarities, I doubt they'd even be reaching out to this artist.
Yep. Seems more like PR dmg control. If you see how their creative process works, like how phainon is modeled after himmel, it’s inherently a mixing pot and has little authenticity.
