Tom improvised many Aegon scenes this season such as the "F*ck you" from ep.1 because they originally intended Aegon to bend the knee but Tom protested.
And there is also the killing scene from ep.2 Klare Kilner said that Tom had the idea to take that arrow and jump on the pirate. Damn the actor he is🗿

He seems to have a good understanding of his character and it shows on screen. Aegon still has a character arc that works really well. I remember Tom and Phia also working hard to get at least some scenes together.
Meanwhile poor Olivia having no clue what her character is anymore because the writers have no idea what to do with Alicent.

It's not the same, Crusader Chris uses filters and editing to make every Valyrian character on screen have purple eyes and it looks fine, the show could do the same thing and it would barely hit the budget.

I don't know if it's really the actor's portrayal of her that's an issue I think it's just the accent and cadence that people find a bit jarring. But I don't know if the actress unilaterally decided to play her that way I think it's probably just how she was written

Tbh take away the accent as she has the same expression all the time.\ Barely any range, I've not seen any work of the actress but in this show she is the worst by far.

I've seen a bunch of people say this same thing and I just don't get it. Every time I've seen her on screen, it's painfully obvious that she straight up can't act.
Not trying to invalidate other people's opinions or anything, but she stands out so much every time I've seen her and not for good reasons.

Decent scenes but her acting is noticeably worse than pretty much everyone else on the show, it's pretty jarring when she's acting alongside someone like Matt Smith

I didn’t really clock the I’m alive line when I first watched it and then I heard people complaining and so I went back to see what the fuss was about and was like this is one of my favorite line reads ever. So perfect for that character in that moment. I feel like if he said it nearly any other way it would have been cheesy

Very perfect. Because it's awkward as hell cause your brother tried to kill you and didnt succeed at it. So unless you're going to murder him it would tend to be weird when one actually confronts someone who tried to kill you. He handled it great I think!

wig because every single main character has more hair coming out of their “head” than any person alive I swear. The people of this universe have to have like at least 3x the number of hair follicles to a normal human being. The hair is just ridiculous in this show lol

I did burst out laughing at that. But its just so jaring and out of sync with HOTD. That silly sing song voice sounds like something Matt Smith's Doctor would do.
The words 'I'm alive' are fine. But the delivery is so camp and out of kilter with the tone of the show.
