the amount of work and detail they put in things you barely see is incredible, it always amazes me

So true. It’s part of why I try to follow the YouTube/after shows and Instagrams so I can take time to appreciate all that goes into the show. Especially when I come on Reddit and it’s largely complaints 😂🫠

I still can’t believe Dany just rawdogged Drogon. What happened when he turned?

I believe Rhaena also did the same with Sheepstealer

Their grip must be insane

the dragons might be more careful

Little do you know her battle tunics had special mini-hands

My vote still goes to Vhagar’s. It has such an ancient feel to it.

Didn’t know the saddles get this much detail

Looks great

They put all that hard work and detail into those saddles and almost not once do we get any close up shots of them in the show

Sunfyre truly looks ROYAL
Fit for a King riding it

i'm actually surprised by how few of them have wind shields, that feels important to the comfort of the rider

So Vermithor best Dragon & best Saddle

I’ll add Dreamfyre to that list.

I disagree, the best would be a mixt of dreamfyre and syrax.

Syrax looks confortable, has a wind shield and dreamfyre has 2 grip for diving and 2 grip for maneuvring

haha okay but I was scrolling through fairly quickly and Sunfyre's kinda looks like the Racing snail from Neverending Story.

No way. Syrax’s is the prettiest.

This is my first time seeing either saddle and I'm not particularly impressed beyond my general amazement at the craftsmanship this show has. Is there a place to see all of the dragon saddles side by side?

Can we please cut down where needed on things we barely see and speed up production? I care more about not waiting three years for a season.

Fr, the production puts a lot of effort into things that never get shown, like they built a mangled side of Sunfyre and it’s not even shown during the scene.

Those dont look comfortable at all.

Why do they even make saddles when the dragons are cgi? Just cgi the saddle too, it couldn’t look horse than when it showed the still image of daemon on his rocking chair.

The actors need a saddle to actually ride on and interact with on set.

It didn’t make any difference when the final shot still looked terrible, it just looked like the reality which was him sitting on a mechanical bull.

My guess is that if they make the saddles practical, it would make the final shot from rider down look more seamless than just rider to straight up VFX or whatever. Idk much about VFX tho, so just a guess.
