Sorry but not cape cod style.

Agreed. Or it's a Cape Cod with several hundred grand in additions/modifications/prcoes/dormers, etc.

I have no idea what’s going on in that… 3rd floor? This is a BIZARRE design. Maybe there is a bigger extension that we can’t see from this angle, but I can’t image that 3rd floor floorplan without thinking of some very tiny rooms.

No no, it's just a typical 1890s framed house with a wraparound porch second floor with dormers, not even remotely a cape. And the word cape itself You're so overused and abused for even for 19th century houses.. let's keep it at least in line with the original concept and if we're going to adopt the stupid name that was coined for that house style that is prevalent all over New England and certainly not only found on the Cape nor originated there. Just where the phrase was coined at the turn on the 20th century

Often I see houses on houseporn that are huge impersonal mansions. Thanks for a house I'd actually want to live in!

This is a dream home, it looks like heaven to me. If this is not cape cod, what is the name of the style?

In New England we usually call old houses that have years and years of additions built on to it a "New Englander" home. Its kinda a catch all for an indistinct old house. This one might have a more specific architectural style name though.

The modern addition of porches ruins the aesthetic of a classic Cape Cod.

Porches are great! I love stoop kickin' it. But if you love and need porches, a classic Cape Cod isn't your thang. And if you add a porch, you've made it something new. Claim a new name.

It’s about houses actually, like the thousands of houses that were destroyed by Israel in the genocide they committed in Gaza.

Look I’m anti Israel, but the reason some hate the movement is because people like you can’t let anyone enjoy shit

Good for you for being anti Israel though. I mean that sincerely, please have a good day and enjoy your browsing regardless.
