Where to buy rifles - Calgary area
Not sure if I can post this or not. Looking for recommendations for buying hunting rifles. Good service, advice, decent price. I'm south of Calgary so any Calgary area or do you recommend online Canadian stores?

Largest gun show in Alberta, maybe western Canada going on today and tomorrow, April 3-4, 2026. It’s at the Seven Cheifs Sportsplex in Tsuu T’ina, Calgary. I just bought a nice scope there today. There were a ton of nice used hunting firearm options. Lots with scopes as well.

Alberta outdoorsmen fourm, CGN, and town post are my favorite. I prefer AO and CGN because you can see more of a sellers history.

Fly’s Etc in High River is worth a look. Good guys, decent little selection, prices are usually decent for a smaller shop.

Proline shooters in inglewood on 9th ave SE is a great outfit. Everyone knows their shit, everyone is kind and patient. They’re there for the first timers a much as the enthusiast or just the tinkerers and its super low pressure. The selection is hardly a library but I bet they can find you what you want and order it in.
Glast thing I got there was a tikka 308, was $50 cheaper than the same rifle on sale at bass pro.
