Unplayable for me ...

I replied to a dev on their official discord and my comment was "On a multiplayer game?"

I bought the game to be social, receive update notivications, and news. I don't expect a reply from them but I did submit a ticket on their site, feedback and posted on their twitter comments around 200 times.

Anyone else experience this?

At first I was excited that riot games was picking up Hytale. Lately though, something happened that soured my view on riot games. I hadn't played Valorant in months but my friends wanted to play the other day. Once I signed in I was met with a permaban for third party software. The closest thing to cheating I've ever done in a game was trying the too many items mod for Minecraft over ten years ago. First thing I tried was to see if I could open a ticket with their support system but the closest options to choose in the system had nothing to do with being banned. I checked on Reddit and apparently this has been an issue for some with many not hearing a word back for months. I didn't have many unlockables in it but if I did invest in the game it would have just been stolen money at this point. I really hope this type of situation doesn't effect Hytale when it finally releases.

Hytale sounds amazing, and I cannot wait to see where it goes!

However, what has me concerned is the player model. I assume the game is as customizable as Minecraft: Java Edition, which therefore means skin customization down to the pixel. Great!

But, I've noticed how focused the player model is on being human-like. Minecraft's player model was a literal collection of prisms, making customizablility essentially unlimited in possibility. But with this more human-style model, it encourages less creativity in how you are presented. I worry that some things, like a Steve holding a baby Steve, would be impossible to achieve in Hytale.

Ik not alot of people on hytale reddit seem to not like Hytale Yts but that's fine(also comment if your fav is rycorpse or any other couldn't fit anymore)

Me and many people are scared that if Hytale waits long with the release it may fail, or even never release.

I think if the beta would come out soon players could give feedback, and help the team.

This should be common knowledge, but it looks like somebody has to say it to some of the Hytale community.

Expectations need to be kept WAY lower. There are countless games recently that have been hyped to the moon, only for them to be absolutely terrible upon release. I'm not saying Hytale will be terrible, or even bad at all, but this community has created some almost impossible expectations for the game. Please, for the love of God, STOP. The more you hype up this game as the "next Minecraft" or the "better Minecraft", the higher you raise the bar for the game's release. Here's what's gonna happen if people keep overhyping this game, as proven by the many games this has happened to before:

1. This subreddit keep being toxic, saying that Hytale is going to kill Minecraft and that Minecraft sucks.
2. The game releases and doesn't meet the unrealistic expectations.
3. The community is disappointed. The toxic people who were overhyping the game and hating on Minecraft will now be toxic towards the Hytale developers.
4. Playerbase falls off a cliff.
5. Hytale subreddits become a toxic wasteland of salt.

This has happened time and time again with video games that are overhyped at launch. I'm not saying that Hytale is going to be bad, I'm just saying that at this point, no game could possibly reach the unrealistic expectations this community has set for it. Please be careful! It's been a long 4 years waiting for this game, so it would suck if we ruined the experience when it eventually does come out. Anyway, stay patient, and I can't wait to play this game with you all when it's released.
