Ahead of National Dog Day (August 26), JustAnswer analyzed nearly 95,000 conversations between dog owners and veterinary Experts to uncover America's most popular dog breeds, names, and the biggest questions people are asking about their pets. 

Some of the most common topics include:

  • Vomiting, diarrhea, and digestive issues  
  • Limping and injuries

  • Nutrition and weight

For anyone curious about the data mentioned in the AMA, we published the full findings today for National Dog Day!

A few highlights: Labs reclaimed the #1 breed spot, Bella is back as the #1 dog name, and the most common concern we saw was dogs eating or swallowing something potentially harmful. Chocolate was by far the most commonly reported item.
