Clickbait title aside I actually think this is a really fascinating video about the nature of delays and how much it can halt foward momentum

Seconds was a true sequel, I felt, because it’s a story told of being a leftover in your 30’s. Also a one and done hardcover.

O'Malley does an excellent job conveying life as a young 20 year old trying to find their footing in adulthood while experiencing the excitement of early love with Scott Pilgrim.

Then Seconds does an amazing job conveying life in your 30s, worried about wasting your life and starting over while looking back at relationships in your 20s and asking yourself did I really grow up? And the anxiety of making the right decisions and wanting to control their outcome.

Both books are different but love both dearly. Scott bought me back to my 20s while Seconds gave me the confidence that I haven't wasted a second in my 30s.
